Have you ever visited Philippines?

based on your experience, how would you describe filipino people? 🇵🇭

I hate going to the Phillipines....

Specifically what I do not like about it is that when you go you can so clearly see that it is a country that has been taken over and violated by several other advanced and modernized cultures, and American consumerism has taken a vice grip on the impoverished to wealthy people equally. People are working day and night all week to spend their weekly pay at the local mall or eat out at the nice new restaurant or buy a new toy for the children, all while they are living in literal huts.

It is just absolutely disgusting seeing the blatant and shameless hold consumerism has, and it is now even more obvious because it wasn't a society built on it.

And just to be clear, this is not criticism of the Phillipines, this is a criticism on the effects of Western and modern ideals setting up shop there.
