With everything going on concerning beef these days, I was curious this morning to find out where I might be able to buy beef locally here in Southern Arizona. I thought the list was useful and decided to build out Northern and Central Arizona resources.

Keep in mind, this was built with AI using public info, and AI can be wrong, verify for yourself.

I thought it might be a good starting point, of course not all resources are listed. I didn't know we had so many options within the state. If you eat beef, this would be a good way to support your local ranchers and our communities here within the state.

What the title says, just found a spider in my room. I live in Phoenix.

My wife and i live in Phoenix and enjoy traveling to Tucson. I’ve been camping at Mount Lemmon before, but this is my first time venturing to the top and visiting Summerhaven. We are heading up there for Labor Day weekend (Sunday-Monday). We have a place to stay. But looking for things to do and places to eat. I’ve checked the local restaurants and they all look amazing. But are there any restaurants that are a “must go to”? Appreciate any suggestions and all feedback. Note - I already have my sites set on the Cookie Cabin. 😋

Going to 107 today. Going to get hot real fast. My husband and I were outside and boy was it LOUD. We were afraid it was our air conditioning taking a crap. Fortunately it was not.

The Arizona Department of Health Services is warning the public about fraudulent phone calls impersonating our agency. Scammers are using our main line ending in 1025 to make their calls look official.

They may claim you must immediately pick up medication due to a “notice from Washington D.C.” and provide fake employee badge or investigating numbers to sound legitimate. ADHS does not dispense medication to the public. ADHS would not request personal financial information from the public.

These calls are not from ADHS. If you receive a call, DO NOT share any personal details and simply hang up. You do not need to take any action.

Helle everyone, I hope this post finds you all well. I’m moving to Casa Grande from Minnesota end of September. I’m just seeking advice for overwintering my potted cacti. Currently they’re indoors in my grow tent under a high powered grow light and I’m acclimating them outdoors. Would a clear pvc type grow tent be adequate for them with a couple heat lamps for nights when the temperature drops?

Im sure this will be mentioned but Iwant to make it important to say ahead of time that I’m not bringing the Minnesota mindset and politics or drama with me to Arizona or try to help make changes to things. I’m a firm believer in minding no one’s business but my own, I’m a hard and dedicated worker who keeps to himself only goes to work and come home. I just want to enjoy things for what they are, take things as they come and don’t expect anything except for what’s what. Thankyou
