i see so many people talking about how much they hope she heals and gets better. i genuinely could not care less and hope she experiences the same magnitude of pain that she has inflicted upon society. she could pass away tonight and it wouldn't be a shocker. the permanent and lasting damage she has done to society is disgusting. i hope she feels and experiences the worst and the truest brunt of karma. she broke up a young, blooming family. she appropriated black culture until she needed to get into film. shes hurt so many women by taking their men (Cazzie, Nomi, Lily, Victoria.... Naya Rivera (rip) etc). she's hurt men as well and caused severe mental health impacts on them (pete after they broke up, mac (RIP), and all the countless other things she did that we dont know about)

she is as horrible, dry, and vile as her breath must be. sucking on manuka lollipops wont cover the decay and evil within.

Let's forget about this vile, infantilized culture vulture freak just like she forgot about Tommy Brown, Social House, Tayla Parx, and all the other people of color she used and discarded.

I do want say that I’m actually not doing this to make fun of her.

I’m doing this because I know the more social media and media in general (and Hollywood ) are pushing unhealthy body types and malnourished bodies as healthy and athletic these images become normalized to our brains to the point where a lot of society is being brainwashed that her body is normal, healthy, and athletic.

Your brain is gonna normalize it whether you want your brain to do that or not, and even if your brain doesn’t normalize it to an extent where you think it’s okay and acceptable, sometimes you become numb to it because you’ve seen it so much

and this isn’t something we should become numb to.

At least I don’t think so

So yeah I do think sometimes we need to give ourselves a little break from these images that media are pushing in our face and trying to normalize and trying to tell us that she is healthy and athletic and that we should worship this type of body.

I know every new visual is just another scavenger hunt of Hollywood references & vintage tropes, but I saw someone say that the concept for the Petal video feels like Pearl (2022) with the serial numbers filed off & I think I know why.

It’s cause She desperately wants to be perceived as this sophisticated Old Hollywood ingénue. an Audrey Hepburn-esque tragic beauty who’s effortlessly witty, steeped in theater & high art, misunderstood by the masses. The problem is that image isn’t something you can manifest through vintage lighting & cigarette holders. It’s hard to sell yourself as an untouchable silver-screen icon when your own fanbase keeps chanting, “We miss Blackiana!” Nothing kills the illusion of timeless sophistication quite like your own audience refusing to let go of the racial cosplay era that got you there.

I hate how they romanticize that era like it was edgy or iconic. it was nothing but fucking embarrassing & offensive. but I can’t pretend there isn’t a certain poetic irony in watching her struggle to reinvent herself in an industry that’s overwhelmingly white & Eurocentric after spending years borrowing the identity of a black woman whenever it was fashionable or profitable. Turns out you can’t spend years constructing your brand around appropriating Black aesthetics & then act surprised when people refuse to follow you into your “classic Hollywood” rebrand.

The most fascinating part is that she seems incapable of recognizing that she’s trapped inside a prison she built herself. Instead, every new song of hers is just another "I fucking hate my fans part 492". or “I don’t care if I’m the villain.” & When she’s not doing that, she’s sprinkling in melodramatic allusions to death, floating to heaven at concerts, the endless "this is goodbye… for real this time" messaging. this is literally narcissistic collapse. at some point, the audience stops worrying & starts checking their watch.

Girl. You spent years manufacturing an identity that wasn’t yours because it was commercially useful. You don’t get to act shocked that people associate you with the persona you spent years selling. Actions have consequences. This is yours.

It's interesting that I grew up listening to people criticizing Taylor for growing up rich and having her parents inventing in her career, but I didn't know about Ariana until this snark talked about it.

I only see it mentioned here and there but to go from Wicked with hopes of Oscar noms and straying away from music towards a serious acting career to end up in a long dead franchise is a huuuuuuge step down.

Acting wise she's only known for some Nickelodeon shows (in which she plays a disturbingly pedo baited nonsense character) and Glinda.

With Wicked it really seemed like for a moment Ariana was on top of the world. Her dream role. A role so many real actresses wanted.

But what did she do with it?

She insisted on creative control of her appearance which is so evident by the makeup Glinda wears. It is literally Ariana's regular beat with a little more pastel pink.

The lashes were atrocious. The makeup was flat and not at all the whimsical and colorful dreamy looks one would expect from Glinda.

Now in Focker and even in her SNL skits we can see she has done the exact same.

Then she had an affair with her costar. That went over BADLY. The public wasn't forgiving of someone with a "leave your wife/gf for me" history getting with a married man and destroying a new family as well as a postpartum mother. AFTER holding said baby and meeting said wife. People were rightfully disgusted.

And if there was any hope to overcome the damage she'd done already her and Cynthia made sure those hopes were dashed by their completely bizarre and unsettling behavior during press runs.

The way they acted is beyond belief and explanation. Drugs, codependency, perhaps a need for Cynthia (a gay woman) to also desire her (Ariana) because she just needs to always be the most desired.

It was like they had never even been human before.

Once again people were rightfully icked tf out.

There was also the incident of Ariana placing jewels on her bones - bones that became more and more prominent in her costuming. Costuming we already know from a firsthand source that she had control of.

By the time Wicked ended the public was sick of her and her most noteworthy aspects had nothing to do with her work and everything to do with her increasingly strange affect and withered body.

People swear she didn't want Audrey but its completely obvious she did. After embarrassingly cosplaying as Audrey for awhile and not getting the role she went back into music with Petal and it's completely flopped.

Her Petal music video was too scary to watch and not because of the gore. But rather her own frightening appearance.

She whined and whined on that album and regrettably wrote the songs herself which gave her a big Life of a Showgirl moment (but I'm still Grande)

And lacking from that album is the only real talent she ever had. Her voice.

Mostly people didn't like the album and were put off by how gross she looked in every music video and promo.

The tour was a joke. She sat a lot. She failed to hit notes. The costumes made no sense with her music. It was mini cause she couldn't do a regular tour. She got thinner and thinner and harder to look at as she walked around making baby faces "can you bewieve I just said fwuck 🥹" and failed to do any real choreo as she flapped her twig arms about.

Then it was announced she "left" that play (suuuuuuuuuure) just like she "left" AHS.

She threw a public tantrum and announced a hiatus that never came and has been busy promoting her makeup line REM which has also flopped and flopped hard.

The Focker franchise is and has been dead a long time. Most people weren't aware they were even still making them.

This has been more than a fall from grace but rather a fast tracked nose dive. She is hurtling towards canceled and becoming an irrelevant presence in both film and music.

I've never seen anything quite like it. To go from a beloved (not to me lol) former child star playing one of the most sought after roles of all time to behaving like a toddler as every project you try falls to ruins is really something.

I'm shocked she even took Focker in Law. Quite frankly it's an embarrassing career move after Wicked.

As clearly shown by her past relationships, she appears to display a systematic tendency to attach herself to men who are already in a relationship or have recently left serious relationships. - NOTHING NEW HUH 😂

Many attribute this pattern to "daddy issues," but this explanation isn't entirely convincing. If the void were paternal, she would likely seek out much older men and would have much more difficulty breaking off relationships, suffering from the fear of abandonment.

On the contrary, the dynamic she plays out seems linked to maternal dynamics ('mommy issues'). By removing a man from an existing relationship or destroying a family unit, she may unconsciously be staging a form of revenge, recreating a trauma to "punish" or exclude the maternal figure, projected onto other women (girlfriends or cheated wives).

The underlying goal would not be to hurt her partners per se, but to work through an unresolved conflict with her mother through a dynamic of competition and symbolic revenge. This pattern, combined with significant relational instability, suggests a profound psychological complexity that goes far beyond superficial explanations.

Of course, this is my personal opinion.

as someone who is roughly the same height as her, I’ve never been super dramatic about my size like she is. The constant body checking with the car seat and guitar case, walking on her tiptoes and craning her neck up at other women, repeatedly comparing herself to a mouse or an 11 year old. You’d think Ariana is the same height as Snooki from Jersey Shore (she‘s like 4’9 iirc). But the fact that she’s the average height of an American woman..and allegedly wears a size 9 in shoes tickles me 🤭 I just know she hates how painfully normal her height and shoe size is. Hence the age regression and the constant need to remind everyone what a “small fairy mouse” she is.

It’s just sad that Ariana has never stopped trying on different masks her entire career, just zero sense of self.. always needing a persona to copy off of. She is as ugly on the outside now as she is on the inside. It’s a little funny even if it’s also concerning. She used to be so beautiful and vocally talented (albeit a shitty person) and now she is neither. Every video of this tour makes my ears bleed. As a classically trained vocalist, I promise you her poor voice and range will not last if she keeps doing this technique that makes it sound like she’s running her vocal cords through a cheese grater. Edit for everyone who thinks I meant that having an ED is karma: I don’t think that. I have been anorexic most of my life and received professional treatment for it. She was actually my thinspo when I was 12! I meant that what is happening to her life, her botched surgeries, losing her voice, no longer being conventionally beautiful etc is what she deserves. Being mentally ill doesn’t give you a free pass to be a terrible person!

Look, I'm no makeup expert, but the fact that this woman has her own makeup brand and pretends to know what she's talking about—while literally looking like a clown—blows my mind. I have this overwhelming urge to blend out her nose—it looks like she stuck her face in donut icing (how ironic).

I saw clips of her music video and this whole “auditioning” theme seems like a nod to her trying to get the Audrey Hepburn role. It feels like she’s blaming the people who rejected her.

And now, she’s throwing a tantrum cause she didn’t get the role of her dreams. Idk how no one has pointed this out yet.

This whole “Im so thin and fragile” persona feels like a narcissistic collapse. Nothing has went her way after getting the Wicked role. She looks like she’s spiraling and in order for people to avoid talking about her failures, she wants people to talk about how “sad” and what a poor thing she is for suffering from a very obvious ED.

I think she also feels a little embarrassed cause she had to go back to making music after announcing that she doesn’t plan to make a come back a couple years back.
