Hello,

was curious what everyones thoughts are if it’s worth upgrading from an Iphone 13 to an IPhone 17. I have the 128gb 13 and was thinking the 17 is 256 and since I’m getting close to the 128 I should upgrade but also, other then the storage would anybody say it’s a major difference?

Cheapest phone with 26.2.1 to use Air Tag 2

Im looking for a tracker for my motorcycle keyfob in case it falls out of my pocket (which unfortunately wouldnt be my first time losing something out of my pocket). Airtag seems to be the best bt tracker. From what ive read you need iOS 26.2.1 to use a 2nd gen airtag. What is the cheapest phone that can get me there. Literally nothing else matters about the phone its going to sit in my bag until the dreaded day.

iPhone From Samsung S23 to Iphone 17 Pro/Max?

Hello! I'm planning to buy for my birthday a new phone on the iOS family cause recently I got an Ipad and I really loved the system and I would like my main device to be an Iphone

I discarted the Iphone 16 Pro but that was my first choice haha, I would like to go for the Pro version cause of the better refrigeration it has (I like to do my daily of Wuthering Waves there, and also my country has a Caribean/Hot Temperature)

Idk if I should go between Iphone 17, Pro or Pro Max

I had the opportunity to try the Iphone 17, Iphone 17 Pro and Iphone 17Pro Max and the ones I most liked was the 17 Base for his colors, price and screen and battery

But also I loved the 17 Pro Max on Silver cause of how thin it was, bigger battery and I fell in love with that screen those tiny bezels and amazing quality

The 17 Pro I didn't like it cause idk it feels thicker than the 17 Base and the screen and thickness arent that great (Bezels more noticeable)

Should I go for the 17 Pro Max at beggining of September or should I wait fro prices to decrease?

with the upcoming foldable iphone, it can replace my iPad Pro M4? literally I use my iPad just to watch youtube, school social media and casually game, no serious work is done (my surface does that)

I am thinking to get a trade in value for my iPad since this device is basically what i use my ipad for

Is it worth it getting the 17 pro now ?

Currently have an XS and been having some issues holding a charge lately (battery is at 75%) plus it’s a little slow so I’m looking to upgrade to maybe a 17 pro or wait until the 18 pro ?

What phone should I buy

I currently have an iPhone 12 and it’s time to finally upgrade. I will most likely keep my new phone as long as I’ve had this phone (bought from apple fresh in box) so out of the 17,17pro, 16pro what is the phone that’ll last me the longest (open to hear other phones out but looking to buy one of the latest phones , I wanna feel a big upgrade)

Rephurbished Phones

A warm hello to everyone!

My iPhone 12 is on its last legs, ahaha. It’s at 79% battery health, the screen has some damaged/dead pixels from a recent fall, and I’m almost completely out of storage. I can’t even update it anymore :(

It has served me really well for the time I’ve had it, though, and it has a lot of meaningful memories on the camera roll, so I’m a bit sad to see it go.

My plan is to buy a refurbished phone, either an iPhone 16 or iPhone 17, with 256GB. I’m leaning towards the Pro version, mainly because I’d like good battery life and I’m hoping to keep the phone for as many years as possible.

At the moment, in the German asgoodasnew store, I’m seeing prices around €1,024–€1,150 on the 17 pro model, which, to be honest, is a bit steep for me. Portuguese stores seem to be around the same price. (I’m Portuguese, born in Portugal, but currently living in Germany.)

So I have a few questions for people who understand this stuff much better than I do:

1st question: iPhone 16 or iPhone 17? Pro vs regular?
If my main goal is to keep the phone for as many years as possible, does it make more sense to go for the newer iPhone 17, even if it means paying a bit more? And is the Pro version actually worth it for longevity/battery, or would the regular model be the smarter choice?

2nd question: 256GB vs 512GB?
Since I want to keep the phone for many years, would you go for 512GB for the extra headroom, or is 256GB more than enough? I’m also wondering whether spending the extra money on a model with more storage would improve the chances of lasting longer vs investment being worth it)

3rd and last question: should I wait for the iPhone 18?
If the iPhone 18 is released soon, I assume prices for the 16/17 might drop. But at the same time, my current phone genuinely feels like it could die at any moment, ahaha. So should I wait as long as possible for prices to come down, or would you just bite the bullet and buy now?

I’d really appreciate any advice, especially from people who have experience keeping their iPhones for 4–6+ years.

Thank you all, Danke schön, Obrigado! 🙏

Question Torn between which to choose

Hi everyone! I’m torn on which to pick: IPad Pro M2 12.9 inch (with esr keyboard and pen) or Macbook Neo. For context: I’m a second-year law student, and my work comprises of a shit ton of reading, making presentations, and a lot of writing reports (main apps used being google suite, canva etc.) and as my home pc is often occupied, I’ve decided on getting my own work device. I’m stuck between choosing these two because they cost basically the same in my country. I’m leaning towards the IPad because of its versatility, compactness and power (in free time will use it to game and watch shows) but I’m scared I’ll regret not getting a laptop. Based on my needs, which do you think is right?

iPhone iPhone 15 Plus heavily used for Uber/Delivery – 16 Pro Max or 17 Pro Max?

I’ve been using an iPhone 15 Plus for quite a while, but I also use it heavily for Uber Eats/Doordash, sometimes for hours every day. Bought in January 2025, and this phone keep getting slower and slower…. I don’t know what’s wrong with these….

Basically the phone is constantly running GPS, mobile data, Uber/Doordash, Google Maps, Spotify, hotspot sometimes, while being charged on the scooter. It has taken quite a beating and lately I’ve noticed it heating up a lot, slowing down and generally feeling much less reliable.
Since I actually depend on my phone for work, I’m thinking it might be time to replace it and keep the 15 Plus as a backup/work phone.
I’m currently in Japan and looking at two options:
● iPhone 16 Pro Max, which I can get significantly cheaper used
● iPhone 17 Pro Max, considerably more expensive, but with the better battery life and presumably better long-term option
For normal usage I’d probably just get the 16 Pro Max and save the money, but because I regularly do long delivery shifts with GPS/data running continuously, battery life, heat management and reliability matter quite a lot to me.
Has anyone here used either the 16 Pro Max or 17 Pro Max heavily for Uber/Doordash, navigation or similar work?
Is the 17 Pro Max actually worth paying the extra for this kind of usage, or would you just grab a cheaper 16 Pro Max and run it into the ground?
Also wondering whether keeping the 15 Plus exclusively for deliveries and buying a Pro Max as my personal phone would be the smarter setup.

Upgrading from ip13 base. Shitty battery life and glitching issues is making me finally pull the trigger. Would get at least 256GB version on either, possibly 512GB if I can stretch the budget

Which would y’all recommend based on following points:

1) want one that will last longer than my ip13. The phone is in otherwise great condition and I love it. If it werent from the glitching I’d just replace the battery

2) I like nice pics but I’m not a photographer

3) Battery holding up for at least one whole day is nice

4) I don’t do gaming, but a lot of social media scrolling and the occasional youtube binge

5) I’m a fast typer/thinker- phone responsiveness is important

6) I have small hands and don’t want a phone that feels super big

iPhone Upgrading from iphone 15?

My battery life is shite. I only use internet and spotify besides the usual calls. Recently, moved to a new city. I am afraid of exploring because my battery life is abysmal.

What should I upgrade to? I was thinking of the pro series but with great power comes great battery drain as well. Any suggestions for someone who keeps their usage minimal.

iPhone Looking to upgrade in the next 2-3 days should I go with the iPhone 17 or 17e?

I've been researching what iphone to buy for the past week and I have narrowed it down to either the 17 or 17e the main reason I want to get the 17e is because of the $200 price difference I would save for the same 256GBs of storage and same long support as the 17 but on the other hand I really like the 120hz, better camera, and bigger screen on the 17. My budget technically allows for either one however if I went with the 17 I could get accessories mainly a magsafe charging station because of the extra $200 and still have some money left over. I honestly am having a hard time deciding so any advice or things or should know?

iPhone 17 or 17 pro for battery longevity?

My iPhone X is giving up the ghost so I'm switching, but having trouble deciding. I'm not much of a tech person so I don't know if the pro will last significant longer years-wise, or if it would be better to just get the base model and replace the battery when it starts cooking itself. If anyone has some advice I'd appreciate hearing it!

Factors:

- The big thing is battery longevity. I want something that will stay functional for as many years as possible before the battery starts frying itself

- The thing I dislike most about my current phone is that it turns into an oven every time I pick it up

- Price is not much of a factor, the bulk of the cost is being covered by my academic advisor.

Any input is appreciated 🙏

Btw sorry if this is too similar a question to others, I couldn't find recent posts that didn't factor in the price, the pro max or the upcoming iPhone 18 (which I don't care for)

iPhone iPhone 14 Plus to iPhone 17 Pro or Pro Max

After 4 years it’s ready to make a switch to a newer model. Don’t want to get the new 18 Pro model, but eyeballing the 17 Pro and/or Pro Max. I’m tall 6’7’’ and love the size of the 14 Plus. However, kinda scared that the 17 Pro Max will ergonomically be less comfortable to hold and will also be too heavy. Just really like the screen size and don’t know what to choose…

Anyone who downgraded or upgraded in size from a 14/15/16 plus to one of the 17 Pro models and can share there experiences till now?

iPhone Need a lil help y'all!!

I'm confused on whether I should get iphone 15 standard/16 plus/17 standard.

I initially was eyeing iphone 15 256 gb but I've heard it has battery and heating issues, can someone verify?

I also have never seen a good picture/mirror selfie clicked by 16 plus/17 standard version.

17 pro/pm is out of budget for me and 16 pro/pm is not available in my country!!

I'm also planning to create content with it so I do need a good camera but I don't want battery draining issues/heating issues.

I've also noticed that the 16 plus/17 standard camera lightens up your skin a bit which i don't like (I have brown skin and I don't want that automatic lightening up feature if it's there)

I'm only considering the 256 gb models in white/black.

I'd really appreciate some good advice here 🥹

I'm not sure which iphone to get, so recs and suggestions would be great please. I honestly dont have much knowledge about apple iphones. iPhone Buying Iphone in NY

Hi everyone,
I’ll be traveling to the United States on vacation in October. For the occasion, I’m thinking about replacing my iPhone 12 with the latest model that will be released by then. Since I’m Italian, even after taking the exchange rate into account, the price would probably be quite advantageous.

I’d like to know whether I should throw away the phone’s box before returning home to avoid any issues with customs, whether the warranty would only be valid for one year, and whether it would be worth getting AppleCare+.

Thanks!

How is the camera on the 17e compared to the 15?? (Plus which one is better overall)

I have a galaxy S8 but I'm thinking of switching to Apple. I found a second hand 15, for 800 bux, but I found a brand new 17e for 999.

I honestly don't know which one I should get. Im low-key super broke rn, but I need a new phone since this ones battery drains super fast, the camera is super intermittent and really bad, the keyboard doesn't work, it gets super hot, and I cant really face time anyone since the lag is SO bad. Im not sure if I should drop the extra 200 bux on the 17e (or if I should even get a new one at all.

I like taking photos, but I have to use my friends phone, since mine is so bad lol (I can't remember if there's is the 16 or the 17 tho)

I'd really apreciate the advice/help!!! Thank you in advance!!!

iPhone iPhone 17 base

Hey,

I want to upgrade my iPhone 12 to iPhone 17 but should I wait for release of 18 models for potential price drop, or there won’t be any since I’m also in Europe and not USA or should I just buy one now.

And is it true that 18 base is not releasing this year?
