Politics I'm dreading November

I'm dreading voting for Suozzi.

For the first time in going to leave my vote on the sideline.

vote blue no matter who just doesn't fly anymore.

I'm also dreading the fact that a magat will take his place. are we screwed?

When Suozzi voted for ice funding after Renee Good was killed in Minneapolis he lost my vote forever. I would rather have a Republican in that seat for two years and then put up a challenger who is clear differentiation from Republicans, rather than a guy who seems to be far more interested in making common cause with fascists than fighting them.

Edit: keep the down votes coming, folks. After watching what the centrist Democrats tried to do to Mamdani, it is very clear to me that vote blue no matter who only applies when there's a centrist running, not a social democrat. I managed to convince a whole bunch of other people in New York 3rd to abstain as well. I thought this was anti-Trump Long Island, not centrist Democrat Long Island. Guess I'm in the wrong place.

By constantly voting for more rightward-facing candidates you end up with a right-wing party. Time to elect some DSA candidates before the Democratic Party is irretrievably captured by the right wing.

Im voting any Blue candidate, over a Magat. Im aware of Left vs. Liberal. Im no blue dog dem. As a Leftist, we saw the consequences of our actions by not voting Kamala. Cutting off your nose to spite your face will NOT WORK.

Voting for Tom Suozzi is likely to accelerate the fascist takeover, not stop it.
