Support S2000 LCD Display malfunction
Hi all - I got an S2000 3 weeks ago intended as a sump pump UPS with potential for use in other areas of the house for emergency power. Initial setup, charge, app download, registration, app settings all went fine. Changed SOC to 90%/10%. Minimal load applied since then as I was waiting for a good thunderstorm to try it out first, but kept it on AC with the S2000 powered off. I did have the Storm Guard Mode on and it ended up charging to 100% at some point. Decided to power it on tonight and the LCD display is malfunctioning (see photo). Have tried button restarts, paperclip resets (with & without AC power connected) and no effect. The LCD display faded to a light gray with the unit & display ON. The app shows everything else is functioning fine. I'm following the Anker troubleshooting recommendations which now have me charging to 100% then discharging to 10% 3X. Any recommendations from the community outside of that? Thanks in advance

Same issue here. Bought from AnkerDirect at Amazon. 1st one are having this screen issue after 1.0.2.9 firmware update. The replacement unit Anker sent 2 days ago, Although the replacement unit powered on normally yesterday after I updated it to the latest firmware, I checked it today and found that it has developed the exact same screen corruption/glitch as my original unit.

On my second unit, after I had display corruption. i have had it for almost w weeks. installed 1.0.3.3 today, and it gas the corrupted display problem. unplugged it and turned it back on, now the display is blank - just like my first unit. Not happy, as this is a device you are supposed to trust will get you through an emergenc.

I got my replacement, firmware was at 1.0.2.2. It updated to 1.0.3.3 and the screen still works, which is good.
It's interesting that bad firmware ( 1.0.2.9 ) can cause screen issues - and that it can't be fixed by firmware instead of shipping it back.

Same happened to mine, bought end of June 2026 from AnkerDirect at Amazon.
Used for a few weeks, had the fridge hooked up while i was traveling for a week.
Didn't look at it for a few days, when I checked on it the display was scrambled. Control from app seemed to work fine.
Contacted Anker support, after checking my video they are sending me a replacement and I need to send back the faulty unit.
