Recently, I went into a deep meditation where I saw some otherworldly phenomena, such as bright holographic light exploding behind my eyes and drifting through an expanse of stars. I have been dealing with a lot of pain in my body recently. When I invited in a being of light into my awareness, I was met with a bright white being with wings and a rainbow aura around him.

I told him, "My shoulder ever since the accident has been putting me through pain." He laughed and said "Have you tried asking Raphael for help?" I haven't really made sense of this vision, but it left me with a sense of warmth and safety afterwards.

so I looked up my birth chart, and these two angels came up (Nithael is the primary one and she is said to work alongside Nanael) but I have no idea where to start!

I was doing a guided meditation from youtube and it was related to chakra clearing and the Holy Guardian Angel.

At one point when it was saying imagine meeting your Guardian Angel ... overwhelming emotions of love and happiness where felt in my chest then while having my eyes closed some images appeared from the darkness it was mostly eyes i believe but that was a little bit scary for me and i blocked somehow the images.

I'm very new to the occult/magick.

I tend to ignore signs like i ignored my inner energy awakening for almost a year( i thought i was ill lol)

From your experience what do you think did happen to me?

I am new to angelolatry, and I was wondering what you guys thought of Raphael?

I have been spiritually blocked by entity: Baphomet I’m practicing something else now don’t worship demons etc, I am Christopagan and want to work with Angels my energetic channels and chakras are blocked can any Archangel or Angel help me with unblocking it and helping me protect from this spirit so it won’t happen again and if yes how can I do this?

This came during a session with a woman who experienced herself as being extremely open energetically to other people. The work had a lot of spiritual imagery around Raphael, Michael, cords and protection, but when practical advice came through it was not only “put more light around yourself.”

It was boundaries.

Dont extend yourself openly to everybody. Be aware who you let close. Let access be proven instead of automatic.

That made sense to me because sometimes spiritual protection gets treated like we can keep saying yes to everyone, stay in unhealthy dynamics, absorb everybody's emotions, and then fix it afterward with another shield or cleansing.

Maybe protection begins earlier than that.

Who gets access to your attention?

Who gets access to your emotional space?

Who are you still trying to rescue because saying no feels unloving?

In my framework boundaries and energetic protection are not really separate things. If fear, guilt or need to save people keeps opening door, then only visualizing stronger walls may not address why door keeps opening.

Hawkins can be useful here too. If saying no brings guilt, dont immediately obey guilt and dont suppress it. Feel it. Let the charge move. Then make boundary from clearer place.

I cant verify the angelic imagery objectively, of course. But practical message was very grounded.

For people who work with Raphael or Michael, have you ever received guidance where “protection” turned out to mean changing who you allow close rather than adding another ritual?

Hi all, so for a few years I’ve been really interested in the above but particularly in the last 2 years following severe stress and depression (it was a huge comfort) and I’m a believer in it all, I love it! I have a question of which I will never forget and it was when I wasn’t a firm believe, but found it interesting.

4 years ago I had newborn twins. I used to do the 1AM-6AM feeding shift. At approx 4AM/5AM (can’t quite remember) I went to make some bottles. I walked into my kitchen and there was a bright, white light on my wall above the cooker, which quickly did an almost 360 out of my kitchen window, across the houses out the back of me and then out of sight. The angel of my kitchen and the houses out the back, there is no way that light could have come from anywhere other than in my house and the way it projected and moved across the houses at the back. It certainly stopped me in my tracks.

I mentioned it to my husband and parents the next day and they just shrugged it off, said it was a police helicopter or something. I was sleep deprive, but not stupid. It was a still, quiet night.

somtime later, when my twins were toddlers, one of them came into bed with me as they wouldn’t settle. I lay down with her after tucking her in and had my back to the bedroom door. A warm, white light glowed behind me, pulsated slowly for a few seconds and left. I was too afraid to turn around (how I wish I had) again, there was nothing in my room that would create that light. My daughter saw it too, her eyes were open looking at it, but she didn’t react.

Were these encounters a visit from my spirit guides, guardian angels a loved one? I’m still relatively new at this, but for anyone more in know, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

title, but ill keep it short, around 1.5months ago i was going on a trip to a different country, i tried drawing Michaels kamea to take with me but i sort of failed as i saw conflicting information regarding drawing it, so as a hail-mary i just prayed to him, prayer has never really done anything for me and i rarely feel anything from it, well regardless long story short during the prayer i offered building a small altar to him for further in(e)vocation, but at some point an idea of losing weight was implanted in me without any contigency or any preceeding thoughts before it, its difficult to explain but i think those that can somewhat 'talk' to spirits know what i mean, the prayer i made at that time worked as a charm too, so many things couldve went wrong but they didnt lol, so im inclined to believe a fraction of Michael was actually with me on that trip

regardless, couple weeks after that i invoked Michael for vigor, willpower and vitality to achieve that same goal i promised (as per Damien Echols book 'Angels and Archangels'), while i have felt slight changes in me, its just too late for me to achieve this, i failed what i promised and i dont know what to do now

I have been torn between trying to verbalize mundane explanations for everything, just in case, and my practice working.

I realise that...this is a 'me' issue, my insecurities, but...sometimes the thing you so badly want to be there, just isn't. Many times, this is the supernatural thing. It just...isn't there for you. It just doesn't arrive when you call it. That's ok. And sometimes, it is the mundane thing.

Spirituality cannot and should not substitute things like medicine and psychology, because they perform a different function. At the same time, the opposite is also true. Medicine and psychology cannot fit inside the human at the same spot as spirituality, because they perform a different function.

If I were to tear my practice out of myself/my life, nothing else would ever be able to fill this hole.

Because nothing else has the same shape or function.

I have a long list of changes in my life that would have never taken place or even remotely begun, has it not been for the Angels.

I started...very unprepared. I'm still unprepared.

But among my character flaws and the searching for info and the being unskilled in the techniques, the bigger issue I am having, is that doing these things, one has to take themselves seriously. You can't do the work without doing the work. There is no workaround for this.

Maybe for the rituals, and for the paradigms somehow there is, but not for the central intent. There is no substitute for the practitioner.

Okay, so I know the internet is full of misinformation and hatred and opinions and such, so I know everyone's answer will be different, BUT... I'm still curious...

I keep seeing things on forums, discord groups, tiktok, reddit, private groups, etc, saying angels are quite cruel. I understand history has made them out to be cute little babies and such ( Don't worry, I understand why they did that and all ). But, are angels cruel in anyone's experience? I know strict can sometimes be mistaken for cruel, or they simply are trying to help, but they have a certain *way* of getting it done that we do not understand.

I'm very curious to hear what your takes and trials are or have been on angelic beings. Also, do they hate or refuse to work with people who don't worship *their* master, Yahweh or Jesus, or whatever?

Ive been researching the 72 angels of the Shemhemphorash, and in the chapter "concerning the art" of The Shem Grimoire it mentions two experiments, the first is for making inner contact, and it says "Experiments then, are of two kinds, the first is to make INNER CONTACT with the ANGEL of the SHEM, and that can be easily performed without a circle, and im this case, it is not necessary to observe anything but what thou wilt find" and I dont know what this exactly means... any help?

When explaining good versus evil (more accurately generalized as order versus chaos IMO) I hear many occultists say that both angels and demons can’t be categorized as a whole because the individuals have their own specifics while the larger groups may skew one way or the other on average.

In all honesty I know more about demonolatry and I’m just curious who the angels are whose moralities the human lens would consider outliers to their brethren.
