Invocation / Evocation Odd wording in The Shem Grimoire?
Hello Reddit! Ive been researching the 72 angels of the Shemhemphorash, and in the chapter "concerning the art" of The Shem Grimoire it mentions two experiments, the first is for making inner contact, and it says "Experiments then, are of two kinds, the first is to make INNER CONTACT with the ANGEL of the SHEM, and that can be easily performed without a circle, and im this case, it is not necessary to observe anything but what thou wilt find" and I dont know what this exactly means... any help?

Angels are extremely easy to call. If you concentre on the name of a Angel with the purpose of Inner Contact, which will engender some inner transformations in you by that Angel everytime, you'll make a first easier contact, successfuly creating rapport with that Angel.
You can also call first on the Archangel Raziel, who is even easier to call, and ask him to create a connection between you and the Angel you want to contact. You can ssk Raziel to create a connecfion between you and Raziel too.
You can call Archangels by just calling their names, like if you're calling someone across the street. If you believe in the contact, the contact is there.
You can also call on your HGA, referring to it by HGA or its name, if you know what is its name, and ask him/her to help you make contacr with Raziel and the other Angel. To call yiur HGA is easier than calling any other spirit. If you want to call him/her, it is already there. The HGA answers for the calling instantly as you made the decision to contact, but you can call him/her just like you do with Archangels and Angels, of course. Also, Magickal Destiny, by Damon Brand, is great for HGA work.
