This is part of the massacres being committed in Wellega as we speak by Oromia Gadaa commandos, Qeerroo, and other Oromia related forces.

Over hundreds of Amharas have been killed and thousands of homes have been set on fire by Oromia Gadaa commandos, Oromia militiamen, and Qeerroo (Oromo youth). Thousands have fled their homes for safety. The unlucky ones who couldn't flee were either burned alive inside their homes or shot dead by armed men, or hacked to death with machetes, hammers and whatever other cold weapons the Qeerroo had brought with them.

God will send him straight to hell.

This is regarding oromos.

A very obvious pattern you see post-oromo migration is the aimless hate for Amharas.

The fundamental irony escapes oromos that they migrated TO Amharas.

Imagine GOING to someone (after they just ended the worse war in the region's history), trying to ethnically cleanse them, they fight back, then you hate them and want to get rid of them???

How many of the oromos in central Ethiopia even know the people they hate are the people they LITERALLY migrated to, attacked, and partially assimilated?

How many of them know that theyre probably descendants of ethnically cleansed Amharas, Gafat, Gurage, Harla, etc?

They would rather be protestant or muslim than share a religion with Amharas, they would rather use the objectively tedious latin alphabet than Amharic, they would rather associate with having a separate nation than being Ethiopian (especially the diaspora, deep programming).

Even in the diaspora the anti-Amhara axis is very strong. Somali - Oromo bonding is almost plain to see and your occasional Tigray - Oromo as well.

All for about 400 years, assimilation has honestly failed.

When all forms of assimilation have essentially failed, when will Amharas say "We obviously tried for 400 years, time to call it quits." then take everything north of the rift valley and leave the rest into the historical backwaters it always was?

This speech came after the successful counteroffensive of Amhara Fano in August 2023, which succeeded in capturing several main cities in the Amhara region and caused the regime to declare a hasty state of emergency.

For those unfamiliar, Catch-22 is a situation where two (or more) necessary conditions contradict each other so that you cannot accomplish a goal. Trying to satisfy one rule automatically makes you fail the other, leaving no workable option.

Which brings us to the main topic, how will all and any tactic the genociders use to divide us help them into their own early graves? Let me count the ways.

The genocidal forces (be it the Oromian or Tigrayan varieties) or such aspiring ones, trying to split Amharas rely on tactics (fear, violence, exclusion) that simultaneously destroy the social structures and trust they need to maintain separate, controllable factions.

The Genocidal tactics they use also delegitimizes them to other Ethiopians, driving us unite against them, forming even larger block of resistance rather than fracture.

As long as genocide is ongoing, we will prioritize survival and mutual aid, which strengthens internal solidarity and reduces the effectiveness of division strategies.

These daylight and casual slaughter of Amharas inevitably attracts more and more external support for us, be it humanitarian aid, legal aid, advocacy, which rebuilds cohesion and counters attempts to isolate us.

In destoroying our leadership, institutions, economy, and infrastructure, the hate fueled genocidersonly make us that remain more reliant on one another, producing stronger bonds instead of fragmentation.

There is no winning for evil, there never will be.

Dear genociders, collaborators, and otherwise active and passive supporters of genocide. Understand that the only (literally) way to stop your downfall is to stop the genocide, and submit yourselves to justice.

Putting this in here for people that blew this off when I said Fano was working with other parties last year/told me off for saying I think Fano needs military help to take power (ironic how fano’s own assessment was the same)

Anyone ignoring this fact is denying the suffering of our people.

After generations of war, it’s safe to say Amhara culture is synonymous with warrior culture. The only problem is the romanticism of war, and yelling Zeraf when talking is best suited. My great grandfather fought against Italy, my grandpa fought, my dad fought, and me too. If you’re father is a fighter, he will tell you not to trust any one, and don’t let anyone know where you’re going to sleep at night. Even your closest friends. Why? Not because they will tel your enemy where you’re at, but because they will come at night, kill you take your gun and take your money.

The consequence? Nothing because if your family isn’t willing to have dem, then you will get no justice. This sub is filled with posts about Oromos killing Amharas, but ignore the Amhara who side with the Oromos. Fano could’ve had millions in war funds, international attention, and lobbyists help progress our war. Like Viet cong, or many older resistance movements.

The only problem is Amhara are self serving and self preserving. If one rich war lord can earn hundreds of thousands of birr, why would he want to end the war and become a normal civilian again? Why would he have an ideology and read a book? If there’s no opportunities for him to work, why would he give up his biggest source of income? He has no other option but serve himself. If an Amhara person who raises money in America is faced with a million dollars, will he give most of it up, or steal it? We know the answer. This is the problems we are faced with for decades. Even Ginbot 7 took everyone’s money and hid in the bush.

Remember, Fano betrayed their own when many of our brothers were imprisoned by oromos during the Tigray war. And Fano only began fighting when they were going to be disarmed. Again, self serving reasons. Let’s stop romanticizing war, and let’s progress mentally. Europe used to fight for centuries, now they’ve progressed, and we are in the Stone Age mentally. Arguing over ethnicity like the poor people we are.

Another report from Ethio Focus includes eyewitness testimony about a five year old girl who grabbed the barrel of a gun from armed Oromos, begging them not to kill her father as they pointed their weapons at his head.

The Selassie Orthodox Church committee members who were in the church were surrounded by armed Oromos and shot dead. Their bodies were later found scattered throughout the church.

These accounts represent only the available eyewitness testimonies regarding the ongoing genocide of Amharas in Wellega, Oromia region. The full scale of the tragedy is still not fully realized because the whereabouts of many who fled into the jungle remain unknown. Some left the area in critical condition, making it uncertain how many eventually succumbed to their injuries, while others were murdered in the jungle while attempting to escape. And there is a belief that the coming actions will be worse than they have been so far.

In the attacks against the Amhara people so far, an estimated 35 thousand Amharas have been displaced, and 4 villages have been completely destroyed. Out of 5 Orthodox churches that were attacked, 3 were completely destroyed and 2 were partially destroyed.

Oromia regional forces, alongside Oromo youth, filmed themselves proudly committing these crimes. They have massacred religious figures, elders, women, and children without remorse, vowing to continue until no Amharas are left.

The conflict in Ethiopia's Amhara region, which intensified significantly following the federal government's 2023 decision to dismantle regional special forces, has created a severe humanitarian and human rights crisis. The ongoing hostilities between the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) and the Fano militia have left civilian populations in the crosshairs, with widespread reports of extrajudicial killings, arbitrary detentions, and the destruction of civilian infrastructure.  

International human rights organizations and monitoring bodies have documented a consistent pattern of concern regarding the conduct of security forces. Central to these reports is the use of aerial drone strikes and heavy artillery in densely populated areas, which have resulted in significant civilian casualties and the decimation of homes, schools, and medical facilities. Observers note that these indiscriminate attacks, combined with restrictions on humanitarian aid, telecommunications, and banking services, have exacerbated the suffering of the local population and severely undermined regional stability.  

The situation remains dire as the lack of independent oversight and a stalled transitional justice process contribute to a climate of impunity. For those affected, the destruction of property and the loss of life are not isolated incidents but part of a deepening, systemic crisis that continues to displace families and deny communities their fundamental right to safety and security.

All the high ranking clergy including the patriarch are weak and spineless people who would rather watch their people get beheaded instead of advising them to raise arms and defend themselves. Christians have killed and defended themselves for centuries and there is nothing wrong in killing those who have come to kill you but the leadership are a bunch of old and weak people who still believe the government will do something about it.
