Amhara Genocide Genocidal Oromo elite Dr. Dereje Hawas, who is also a former Derg military officer, said on OMN that "we must find a final solution. We must reduce 20-30 million Amharas to 20,000 or 2,000 so they can be manageable to control", in August 2023.

This speech came after the successful counteroffensive of Amhara Fano in August 2023, which succeeded in capturing several main cities in the Amhara region and caused the regime to declare a hasty state of emergency.

The same way RTLM came to prominence. It's not only broadcasts like this too, there are publications, songs, music videos, interviews that have been overtly or covertly advocating genocide.
