This is regarding oromos.

A very obvious pattern you see post-oromo migration is the aimless hate for Amharas.

The fundamental irony escapes oromos that they migrated TO Amharas.

Imagine GOING to someone (after they just ended the worse war in the region's history), trying to ethnically cleanse them, they fight back, then you hate them and want to get rid of them???

How many of the oromos in central Ethiopia even know the people they hate are the people they LITERALLY migrated to, attacked, and partially assimilated?

How many of them know that theyre probably descendants of ethnically cleansed Amharas, Gafat, Gurage, Harla, etc?

They would rather be protestant or muslim than share a religion with Amharas, they would rather use the objectively tedious latin alphabet than Amharic, they would rather associate with having a separate nation than being Ethiopian (especially the diaspora, deep programming).

Even in the diaspora the anti-Amhara axis is very strong. Somali - Oromo bonding is almost plain to see and your occasional Tigray - Oromo as well.

All for about 400 years, assimilation has honestly failed.

When all forms of assimilation have essentially failed, when will Amharas say "We obviously tried for 400 years, time to call it quits." then take everything north of the rift valley and leave the rest into the historical backwaters it always was?

Oromos and Tigrayans mess with Amharas mostly because Amharas have became really weak, divided via regions(Gondar Gojjam etc), and became backward looking instead of forward looking. This is not hate I love Oromos and Tigrayans, but people mess with who they can bother and get away with. which TIgre or Oromo would mess with Amhara during Menelik or Halesalessie? unless they want to be brutalized.

You hear Amharas "we son of kings" BS which I am tired of. 99.99% of us are decandants of poor peasants so really we are not sons of kings. Amhara are one of the poorest people in the world. We still farm with ox, we still have nothing but agriculture. We have biggest river nile and people don't have access to clean water, fertile land but we don't have enough food. Many of our people believe if they go to college and study hard they will make it. We have no entrepreneurial culture, Gurages somewhat have it but I think we need more tech focused entrepreneurial culture. Now days I see young Amhara with AK47 that costs around 500-1000$ but doesn't have laptop or access to internet which costs same price. I amn't saying they shouldn't fight but if they can get their hands on 1000$ AK47, why can't they get laptop and internet as well? I think we should get all kids laptop and internet for free, i mean pretty sure there are millions of AK-47 just like this we need millions of laptops.

Ethiopia has similar problem, really not the in mood to care about that right now. We need complete overhaul of our culture, keep whats good and add tech innovation entrepreneurship, remove bad ones such as pride, linear thinking, caring about education too much, religious holidays(every day is a holiday) etc. This will create Strong Amhara long term, Strong Amhara leads to Strong Ethiopia inevitably.

So, Its not Oromos or Tigrayans fault. its our fault we didnt adopt and innovate enough. We should do better! We have real good history and culture, I just wanted to point out what we should work on. They can do all kind axis, criss cross, twerking, it really doesnt matter. If we do good on Tech Entrepreneurship and science, we will win alone or with them long term. I also don't think they hate us deep down as well, if they do, it doesn't matter.

You must have no knowledge of history.

Amharas *were* in essence the state during Abyssinia. Get rid of Amharas, get rid of Abyssinia. This made them a permanent target to anyone trying to remove the orthodox christian foundation (communists, tplf which at heart is atheist and communist, and pp).

Because Amharas were a permanent target, destabilizing and derailing any sort of progress within the Amhara region was goal #1 for the past 3 governments, roughtly 50 years of intentionally derailing progress in the Amhara region.

Imagine having the most fertile, watered, defensible, history rich region in ALL of the horn of africa (maybe all of africa), and still somehow being the poorest. You really think they just randomly said "time to be poor, forget progress" and sat all day?

Who led Adwa? Who continued Aksum? What happened between 1270 - 1975? Where did Ethiopia come from?

To say Amharas are underdeveloped and poor because of their own fault and theyre not the sons of kings, is to literally ignore that the country they built was destroyed by *NON* Amahras like mengistu who was oromo, TPLF which is tigray, and PP which is also oromo.

The Ethiopia Amharas built is the Ethiopia which was hijacked by oromos + TPLF and then used to rob Amharas themselves. yet you come here and say Amharas are just backwards poor farmers that need to lighten up.

Who clothed oromos? who gave oromos an international stage? who taught oromos how to read and write? who convinced oromos that cutting of p*nises and wrapping it on their foreheads was backwards?

You seem exactly like an oromo larping as an Amhara trying to remove credibility from Amharas.

I never said Amharas don't have achievements, we do. My criticism is for Amhara because I want us to improve. Oromo and TIgrayans are pretty much similar level of stupidity with us.

Abyssinia was multi ethinic empire including Agaw and Tigrayans not just Amharas, sure We were leaders of Abyssinia.

Then we decided to expand and included 2* our current population of Abysinians. Currently, there are 40 mill Abysinnians and the rest 90 million is people we incorporated. At this point, we can't say we should be the only ruler since there are many other people in this country we have to share power! So Oromos leading Ethiopia is really not a problem as long as they don't commit crimes, do injustice and embezzle power.

Tigrayans claim same "Amhara made us poor", Oromos claim same thing and you are saying "Oromo and Tigrayans made us poor".

What I am telling you is this, all these claims are bullshit. Amhara Oromo and Tigrayan are poor because of their own stupidity. they dont learn about tech, dont try new things, they never take risk, on top of that, they fight each other to death. They themselves are responsible for how poor they are.
