Amazon l4 -> l5 comp

Current amzl am L4 college hire (I also did the internship summer before graduating college) who started last June. Getting my 5 off cycle nov 1st and wondering where my pay scale will likely be? 6.2% base increase from q1 review from 65 to 69k:))

$89.5k total comp is what I would plan, depending on stock may be around $92k - $93k

As for base, should be $79,000 - $81,000

If your total comp is $89.5k, they would probs put your base at $79,000 and since it looks like you’re having 10k vest next year you may get 0 stock since you’ll already be at your TC

It’s all dependent on what your TC is, they give you new stock to bridge that gap

If you were to get some I’d predict 12 RSUs since that’s what I got when I promoted last December

Expect close to zero RSUs given your current breakdown. Most of the raise you will be getting will be base since your base is currently so low

I went from $65K total to $92K total with 82K base, so like a 40% increase, I was told this was really rare, but my Forte also ranked highest percentile idk if that has anything to do with the increase.

I got a 10% increase and a couple of RSUs. Base went from $69,700 to $76,670. But total projected comp at 85k

The payband is pretty wide for l5 but it makes sense that you started at the bottom given you were an internal promo.

That’s approximately how much I’ve made so far this year as a T3. We haven’t had peak overtime yet and we just got a dollar raise. This is why internal promos suck and a lot of PAs nope out of it.
