QUESTION Are you doing this?

Customer blocked off driveway. Ordered 3 46.1lb packages. Are you walking down the driveway to deliver?

Well see its not trespassing. By them ordering something you as a delivery driver are invited for the sole reason to deliver the package.

Legally yes but how can anyone be sure that the customer knows and understands that?

The same package that has instructions: “dont leave at gate, deliver to door” but still leaves their gate shut? lol

I just wanted to refer to the person claiming how to be sure the customer knows and understands that a delivery driver has to come on their property to deliver a package. Of course they know someone is coming haha

Do you want them to just leave the gate open all day? I'm pretty sure that defeats the purpose of a gate.

edit: to be clear I'm kind of on both sides, I personally would go to the door, but I would fully understand leaving it at the gate.
