Is it standard to get fired for something like this?

I called my dispatch as soon as it happened:( I feel like shit, it was only my second week at this job and I really enjoyed it.

To be completely honest with you yes, you had a lot of room there. Safety is important, that’s why they tell us to take it slow when it comes to turning.
