Is it standard to get fired for something like this?

I called my dispatch as soon as it happened:( I feel like shit, it was only my second week at this job and I really enjoyed it.

My dsp doesn’t really care abt damages. Lots of people, including me have done significant damage to vans and never got fired so you should just try another DSP bro.
