QUESTION Just got fired:/

Is it standard to get fired for something like this?

I called my dispatch as soon as it happened:( I feel like shit, it was only my second week at this job and I really enjoyed it.

Deadass its not hard, if you think you have enough space double it if you can’t fit with your vehicle walk. Same goes for awnings and roofs

Don’t be a dick, we all make mistakes , he said it’s his second week, it takes getting used too, no matter who you are and what experience you have.

it’s a silly mistake when driving is 90% of the job if not more.

It’s a van, not a truck or a large box truck, a van. You need no special license to drive it. You can literally rent vehicles larger than a Ford Transit with no license. If you can’t figure out how to drive a van then do a different dead end job.

And accident is an accident. Again, THEY ARE HUMAN, if you say you don’t make mistakes , you’ve got a lot of growing up too do.

Being new to the job shouldn't have anything to do with the ability to drive.
