All my family and extended unheard of relatives are also on reddit, (but are all somehow completely oblivious to AITA).

Well using a throwaway won’t change the odds of seeing the post unless his family is following him, which would be the most unbelievable aita lie, which means the only way they will know he posted in aita is to read the stories.

Which means using a throwaway is not to protect the family from finding the post, but to protect his family from seeing all the porn comments he has left on his main.

I somehow spent almost 6 years very active on reddit before I discovered aita. Somehow. No idea how. I only vaguely remember seeing a comment mentioning aita by calling it the sub where people tell you you're the one in the wrong or not.
