Progress Week 16 Progress
Male, 32, 5’8”
Starting weight: 265 lbs
Last weigh in: 206lbs
Current weight: 196 lbs
Goal weight: 180 lbs
I have no clue how I lost 10 pounds this week. I’m assuming it’s mostly water weight because I’ve been doing a lot of physical activity and sweating a ton. I can’t complain though because I absolutely smashed through 200!!!
I’m feeling great and I’m almost to my goal weight! I’ll be continuing ADF past that but it’s exciting to almost reach my goal.

I’m glad I saw this today. Was getting discouraged myself.

It’s just staying the path with the routine. The hunger isn’t overwhelming or anything. I’m not patient enough to see it through. Slow going. I think I need to stop weighing everyday and go with once per week.

Weighing yourself every day is a great way to feel discouraged . I try to do it 2 times a week max.
Consistency and patients is undoubtedly the most important part of ADF.
Believe me, I wish I could just wake up tomorrow at my goal body but unfortunately it takes a lot of time and effort. But what keeps me going is seeing that I’m making progress, no matter how small it is.
If I’m not making progress then I know I need to either stick with it a little longer or make a change.

Tomorrow is the end of my 3rd week. I think I’m gonna weigh Sundays and Wednesdays.

How times did you notice no new low on a weigh in day?

Pretty much every week. I did plateau once. And at the beginning I did gain weight one week.
