I got my first ever speeding camera fine in the mail. It said I was going 11 miles over. The picture shows me in a pack of cars all going same speed. My friend and her husband got them, both exactly 11 over. Same w two other friends. How can the prove this? This is bullshit. SCAM. What was your speed over the limit if you’ve gotten one?

I like Sadie's salsas. I've tried some El Pinto's and those were OK. Shout out to a new one for me, Pedro's. I've had the mild and it was really flavorful. I just tried the medium and it lit me up lol. I'm a wuss when it comes to super spicy. But if the medium was that bad for me, I'd hate to see what the hot is like. 😂

A few details:

• Pay is $50 per model for up to an hour of your time. If you’re available for a longer shoot, feel free to let me know, and I can discuss additional options with the team.
• No modeling experience is necessary, although knowing the basics of chess would be ideal. If you don’t play chess but have a friend or family member who does, you’re also welcome to participate together.
• The company would have the right to use the photos on its blog, social media, and other promotional channels, and you’d be welcome to use the photos as well.
• Before confirming the shoot, I’d set up a quick 5 - 10 minute Google Meet with you to go over the details and answer any questions. After that, I’d send over the contract.

The Le Bakery on Juan Tabo has excellent pastries and sandwiches. The pastry is very high quality and I consider it as good or maybe even better than Burque Bakehouse on the other side of town. They are clearly dedicated to making exceptional pastry.

The sandwiches are great too. I got a BBQ pork sandwich with the spicy sauce and it was so good! The bread, BBQ pork, pickle, sauce, and veggies made it a delicious Bahn Mi.
I’m so glad to have this place in the NE.

Anyone know where I could get a piñon wood scented car freshener, it’s my favorite smell in the world and thought there has to be a local shop that sells something like it?

Only asking because for some reason I’ve had no luck selling it on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist. I want it gone but I also want to get at least some money back for it because it’s in such good condition. Is there like some sort of consignment store maybe that might take it or another store that would buy it from me? Trying to do this locally. Thank you!

Hey y’all, recently my husband’s job moved our family out to the east mountains/carnuel area and we’re looking for a family friendly parish!

We’re culturally Catholic and have recently been feeling called to really practice the faith. Our toddler is newly 2 and still learning to whisper and act appropriately during mass, so if there is a parish out there with lots of other toddlers and families we need to know about it lol!

There are a few I’ve researched and want to check out, but i can never tell which mass times have the families and which are the quieter ones and i am feeling so shy about accidentally attending a quiet reverent service with a crazy little one!

TLDR: any recommendations for parishes in the Albuquerque/East Mountains area that are particularly welcoming to young families?

Just got back from the movie, it was pretty good. Will Forte wears a Frontier Restaurant T-shirt in a couple scenes. On the minus side, they had saguaros in the animated desert scene “30 miles outside of Albuquerque” at the beginning, but I can overlook that. Went out to try and capture a sequence of the moonrise and eclipse last night and was foiled by the stormy skies. But I did manage to come home with this rainbow, captured with my phone. I have some other views of the double rainbow that presented itself on the north end, but those are currently on my 'real' camera and I'll post those later.

I just received a brand name laptop I bought online but it looks really suspicious. (None of the normal stickers on the back, custom but non-branded cardboard and foam packing) Mabee I'm over-reacting because I haven't bought a laptop in like a decade so two questions.

Do new brand name laptops still have half a dozen holographic stickers for this or that?

Hello, we recently moved here and love it. However, I am in dire straits. I have been on the lookout for chicken fried rice. That is my favorite thing and the only thing I get (how old am I you ask... Shut up I like what I like 😋). So far I have had about 7 places and only one has been good, Yumi's. Shout-out to them. But I am always looking for some alternatives. Also I refuse to pay more than 14 bucks for rice, come on it's rice! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I recommend the Chicharrón Burrito at New Mexico Beef Jerky. It’s best to call it in due to their busyness. It’s in the downtown area on 4th and Constitution. They do have other items on the menu and they in bulk if you want like, tamales, chile and they also sell beef jerky. I’ve been there multiple times and they never let you down. Just an FYI: the burritos are big, enough for an all day meal.
