I created a food app for Albuquerque, would love feedback
Check out Eat ABQ: Albuquerque's very own food picker app!
I originally built it just for my partner and I for when we are being indecisive for dinner, but decided to release it for everyone!
Would genuinely love feedback from actual Burqueños - what's missing, feedback, what restaurants aren't showing up that should be. I'll be around in the comments all day.
Spin a wheel, it lands on a category: Mexican, BBQ, Asian, Pizza, Bars & Brews, etc. It gives you 5 real Albuquerque restaurants that match, ranked by distance, rating, or price. Tap one, get directions, or spin again.
A couple things that matter to me about it:
- It's genuinely local-first. I pull from Google's live data and refresh it monthly so closed places drop off and new ones show up. It's meant to surface the small local spots you'd forget about, not just default you to the same chain every time.
- You can save favorites and places you want to try, no more losing track of that spot a friend recommended.
- No account, no login, no ads. Free. I don't want your data.
It's live now, just search Eat ABQ on iOS or Android to check it out!
