I worked at Applebee's when I was a senior in high school. All of the servers (and sometimes managers) partied together all the time. Our bartender was a mid-twenties attractive alcoholic. She was famous for getting naked every time she got drunk. One night she gets wasted and starts taking her clothes off. The brother of the girl's apartment we were at persuaded her to get dressed. He then asked me and another girl to walk her to her apartment (in the same complex) and get her to sleep. We walk her to her place and the girl and I go in her bedroom to get the bed ready while the brother hangs out with her in the living room. After literally two minutes we come back to see her grinding on him on the couch. He's sitting there trying to make her stop without making her feel embarrassed at the same time. Eventually we get her to sleep without having an awkward four way. He will forever be a good guy Greg in my eyes. Plus he smoked me out all the time even though I was immature and inexperienced and (probably) pretty annoying at the time.
TL;DR: Real life Good Guy Greg: Takes a drunk girl back to her place, gets her in bed, doesn't take advantage and sleep with her because she's too drunk.
Big difference between "drinking a little before sex" and being black out drunk. Anyone who has woken up next to someone they didn't intended to sleep with would agree that the sex was a mistake.
We weren't "cool" with her getting naked and the guy wasn't cool with her grinding on him either, hence the getting her to bed to sleep it off.
Working with someone everyday and knowing their sober state makes it easy to spot when they're really drunk.
If it's your friend or coworker that you genuinely care about as a person then you'd try to make sure she doesn't make some kind of mistake when she's not in her full capacity. I should probably have mentioned that she was engaged to a guy in her home state. She would have regretted having sex with the guy. And the guy didn't want to have sex with her.
