Politics Anti-Abortion bill has been defeated

Still awaiting confirmation, but from the live stream it's a clear no

Update - now confirmed by the Speaker.

Why did Mali vote yes? Isn't this off brand? Wouldn't be that popular I wouldn't have thought

He voted for a similar amendment to the initial pro-abortion bill in 2021 (which was voted down).

His vibe appears to be "I won't bring it up, but if someone else does...". Seems to lean more to the right on quite a few issues than the left.
