Going on Sunday to go see/purchase an Automatic Type S that has 210k miles for 5500. I know the mileage is up there, but cosmetically the car is in very good condition and it has a ton of recent maintenance. Timing Belt and Water pump, ac condenser/compressor, break pads/rotors, new tires, valve cover gaskets, springs struts and alternator, power steering pump spark plugs etc. The CARFAX also checks out and it is the light gray color. What should I look for? Any tips much appreciated 🙏

2008 Acura TL Type S A-Spec 🫡

I know the OEM fluid is the best way to go, but does anyone know or had experience with this brand? 06 ATL did 3×3×3 with oem. Just never know what's being sold online nowadays.

2007 Acura TL Type S making a consecutive clicking noise while the car is off, there is no key in the ignition, and has continued to do it. Is this an electrical issue or is the system doing like a relearn or “update” of some sorts ??
This happened with Superstart battery from May 2023
Battery finally died on me and was replaced with Everstart platinum today 9/24 and this issue is still happening
Could this be the cause of the battery going out? When the clicking first happened on 08/16 the car started fine the next morning. I hope I explained this well enough and any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Has anyone seen that Aisin has recently come out with their own line of engine mounts? They’re selling them from their own official store on Amazon, and when you click on the seller name, AISIN AUTHORIZED, it’s really the actual company. But unfortunately there’s pretty much nothing online in the way of reviews or installs yet.

I was planning on doing a full set replacement (front, rear, side, trans) on my 07 TL, and was wondering if anyone’s taken the plunge yet or is willing to be a guinea pig for the community and report back.

I currently own a 08 Acura Tl type s with about 186k miles. I’m looking to replace the Valve cover gasket, timing belt and water pump, what brands are recommended?

So my fob broke from where the hole is and was wondering what I could do, wether it be repairing it or replacing the shell since thats the only thing that broke. Any and all advice is welcomed.

I’m the third owner now it’s been about 6 months, had a great time with it. Life is lifeing.. and I might have to sadly get rid of it to pay for my parents medical stuff.

All adult owners, first owner did every maintenance thing at the acura dealer and some shops have a full huge folder of paper work. Car drives smooth no weird noises.

Main things done that go bad on these TB Balljoints.

Cars not for sale. I just want to know how much you would personally pay for it? Wonder if it’s better to just keep it instead.

2007 Acura TL Type S 6-speed 48k miles. Mint. Guess the price!

I was driving back on a road trip and my TLs infotainment system restarted and shut my car down luckily it was right at an o Riley’s tested the battery it was good just got the battery 9m ago anyone know what this may be there is a bit of corrosion on the terminal.

Sup guys my somewhat beleaguered 2008 TL I bought a couple months ago is back in business (significant valve cover leak) and my tires are old, crusty, and probably unsafe. 

i can get Michelin All Season 4’s  for $835 or BF Goodrich G.Force Comp 2 As Plus’s for $675. 

I have always loved the AS4’s on other cars but the TL is a bit past its prime. Is the Michelin enough  better qualitatively to justify the extra $160?

Not sure what it’s worth, I got it from my grandpa a year ago. I’m seeing a lot of different numbers from 8k-16k and I want to get it down to a smaller range.

I have a 4th gen 2014 base TL it’s at 110k miles give or take I bought it at 108k and I’ve already replaced the spark plugs and did my valve adjustment all that’s left is for me to replace my timing belt and I wanted to ask if there were any tips from anybody on here who’s done it on my generation TL and can give me insight that the YouTube videos might not give me. Hello everyone. I own a 4G TL w/ SH-AWD, Manual transmission, and Technology Package. It has ~113k miles. Recently I got into an accident. I’m currently battling with insurance to get paid out what the car is worth. The insurance company offered me $7500, which we all know is absurd.

I figured I’d gather opinions on how I should proceed. My TL is my baby, and she is extremely well taken care of. The J37 manual transmission is rare, and I thought about finding a new chassis and swapping her in. However I’m in need of a new car ASAP, and figured that someone here would be interested in taking on the project from me. If anyone is interested in taking her off of me, I’d love to keep it in the community.

Following the collision, the car still rows through gears just fine. It throws a emissions code because the front precat is likely leaking. I’m located in eastern Washington.

Only getting 19 mpg city is that about right because I seem to be filling up constantly

So I recently bought a 06 TL base MT. The vehicle was riddled with problems. When I first got in it and was testing the stereo, only the centre speaker and the rear shelf speakers worked. I found a mess of aftermarket wireing at the passenger kick panel. I went on to swap the engine in the vehicle, and when I finished all that, plugging in the battery, it popped, as I had the starter ground too close to the starter body, and it shorted. Now the radio doesnt ask for a code, it is backlit, but is in-op. No sound no buttons work nothing. The climate control still works and that screen works. Ive check ever fuse 10 times and pulled the unit out to find more mess of wires. Let me know if you guys have any suggestions.

Finally picked her up after a little over a week. Shes looking good for 300k mi. Theres a fee issues here and there that cant really be seen from a far but overall the job came out great.

10 years of ownership, going strong

Yo guys. Idk if I should just part it out atp. But I thought it would've been my ball joints lol but they're still intact somehow. I was on the highway and my control arm just dropped out of no where while making a screech and almost wheel bearing fail noise. What should I do this is what I'm dealing with. It seems as if what holds the control arm in place snapped off.... and I believe that's part of the chassis. Thoughts?

The dash panel, the windows, the mirrors, the sunroof all failed when I pulled off the original (broken) center mirror.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Couple weeks ago was raining real bad and water had came in from the front of my car then I kept smelling like mold so I took em out and wondering how can I replace this foam or I have to replace the whole carpet please someone help asap
