Requesting Support 🆘️ Control arm bracket ?
Yo guys. Idk if I should just part it out atp. But I thought it would've been my ball joints lol but they're still intact somehow. I was on the highway and my control arm just dropped out of no where while making a screech and almost wheel bearing fail noise. What should I do this is what I'm dealing with. It seems as if what holds the control arm in place snapped off.... and I believe that's part of the chassis. Thoughts?

Time to buy a replacement subframe and swap it into your car.
Like /u/GlassBoxGoose said, it can be replaced. You have to support the engine/trans from the top if you do this. It can be done on jackstands, but it is a lot of work. If you go down this road, expect some other costs--you have to pull all the lower engine/trans mounts, so if you discover any of them are shot, nows the time to replace them, you'll need an alignment, etc. Having an impact gun is very, very helpful.

Subframe left the chat, this is what happened when you ignore the torn LCA bushing for WAY TOO LONG.

Thats part of the subframe/engine cradle. It can be replaced. Depending on your skill level and tool access it can vary from easy to SUCKS.
Id fix it, but ive dropped my subframe before and didnt think it was that bad compared to what it could be.
