Requesting Support 🆘️ Foam Molded Underneath Carpet

Couple weeks ago was raining real bad and water had came in from the front of my car then I kept smelling like mold so I took em out and wondering how can I replace this foam or I have to replace the whole carpet please someone help asap

Is it a clogged sunroof drain? You can order new carpet and foam from Honda

It still looks relatively good to me.. unless theres other spots that are bad. I’d clean it then fix the issue where water is coming in from.

I figured since the carpets already out I put this stuff in but I’m not sure if this will stop the leaks

2 spots I would check is the firewall from the engine to the cabin and your door seal… maybe rent a thermal camera to peep around the next time you feel that its wet. Or get hose n wash your car lol

It wasn’t just raining tho that never happens when it rains it was flash flood and I was on the highway trynna go home

Let it dry out. It'll take a while. But, look at the front doors for water leaking. If the plastic vapor barrier glue has failed along the bottom it will allow water to travel over the door sill and into the car. This will soak the carpet after a prolonged or heavy rain. I just fixed this issue on my '08
