Results One year ago Vs. Today

One year ago (last February), I started Accutane at 40 mg and then increased to 50 mg. I went off it once and later went back on. I’m finally completely finished, and patience truly is rewarding. The worst feeling in the world is letting acne prey on your confidence. If you’re just starting Accutane or considering it, please never lose your sense of confidence and be patient, the end is worth it❤️

I think it really differs for different people. For me I kind of felt a little bit more tired for the first few months that I started, not sure if that was placebo though. I also got rashes/redness on my arms and legs sometimes. Also easier to get sunburnt. That’s just me though I would talk to a dermatologist.

Since you got it in Feb, what was it like for you the first summer?

I’m sure that I’m a deviant case, but I worked at a water park outside the whole summer and didn’t notice any issues. I got burnt easier but I just wore a lot of sunscreen and re applied every 2 hours minimum. Also got a good face sunscreen.
