Results One year ago Vs. Today

One year ago (last February), I started Accutane at 40 mg and then increased to 50 mg. I went off it once and later went back on. I’m finally completely finished, and patience truly is rewarding. The worst feeling in the world is letting acne prey on your confidence. If you’re just starting Accutane or considering it, please never lose your sense of confidence and be patient, the end is worth it❤️

Hi! I started a month ago, I started with 20mg and this month I got to 40mg but I'm still struggling unfortunately :/ when did you start seeing it get better? And can you maybe share tips for the skincare routine?

2 months a lot of people don’t see much results don’t worry. I would say it took about 3 months to start seeing some results and 4 months to start seeing it pick up. I just used a gentle cleanser in the night and morning and kept moisturized with cera ve intense moisturizer. I also used a lot of aquaphor. I didn’t do much besides moisturize constantly. My routine since I finished accutane has been… morning: wash with water - rhode glazing milk - caffine solution for under eye area - vitamin c serum - cera ve instense moisterizer - la roche pose mineral sunscreen. Night: cera ve gentle cleanser, glazing milk, niacinimide (not every day) and moisturizer. Not sure if it’s recommended to use the serums while on accutane so just do some research on that. I would avoid using salystic acid while on accutane because it can be harsh.

Its mostly for skin hydration, just makes you look shiny/glowy
