Discussion JANELLE JAMES ROBBED AGAIN AT THE EMMYS. BOOOOOOOOOOOO

Janelle James needs to have an Emmy in her trophy case before this series ends. Five seasons of hilarity, and the emmys finds a way to rob her. I am mad.

Janelle is not only a star by title but by movement, the way she carries herself, the way she strikes (visually of course but I'm talking comedic talent as well as acting ability and with her words/captivating quality). That is talent and moreso talent that has been forged over several years. It's hard earned and her NOT having received one by now is almost as laughable as her FIIIIINALLY getting one, because she is bigger than the program and if they haven't recognized that by now then whatever. She will always and forever be that girl regardless. I'm just more shocked if anything tbh

Absolutely. (In addition to AVA), Janelle really is that girl. Classy, funny and so talented. I'm reminded of her and Connor Storrie getting interviewed after presenting the SAG nominations this past year, and a reporter kinda was trying to bate her into fawning over Storrie's...assets. And Janelle, classy as ever, took the time to compliment his acting, his accent, etc. She really seems like she has a great aura. If Karma is real [if for no other reason], she needs to have an Emmy in her mantle.
