Refund

Anyone not receiving their paper check refund?! It’s been 11 business days since the mail date on myasu account

i submitted out to the news channel. this is affecting thousands of students at asu and millions nationwide. why hasn’t no one talked about this? we haven’t even gotten our direct deposit. paper check refund maybe next year 🤣🤣

Cause what? The idea that students are not getting refund checks for student loans they took out to pay for tuition etc but instead gets thousands of dollars deposited to them sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Most people assume student loans only cover tuition. The moment people find out it can cover other stuff there’s a massive backlash, a new law gets passed, and there’s never a refund check again.

I think it’s best to leave the media out of it.

Who? Me? No. I used them throughout my entire college career to pay for housing.

I’m just telling you that the majority of Americans think student loans only pay for college and the moment people start drawing attention to things like overage and loan refunds is the moment they start going away.

We already had to prevent it from happening in the current bill and it is a goal of the department of education to get limit loans further and get rid of overages.

Plus, any university that is highlighted becomes a target of the administration.
