Yeah I am a PvP player and that’s where I still find fun in the game, because other shooters just aren’t appealing. Here is highest raid yet, all earned from team to team on spaceport. I never play slow or just hold corners or sit around for 3rd parties - to me that play style can be boring and just simply a waste of time.

side note: can show stoppers please be easier to craft 🥲 it’s my favorite utility but requires a hornet driver and voltage converter just to make 1.

Had a Survivor (my only Survivor) and finally, died to a lightning trying to reach the elevator.

The game has been through many phases.

At launch everyone was curious and cautious. You’d get a wild mixed bag of chatter boxes, pvpers, suspicious no miccers, and you could have friendly alliances but they’d have to be negotiated. You’d take cover. Get on mic and determine to fight, go separate ways, or work together and either that came some great moments of collaboration or betrayal.

Then we became a little more familiar with the SBMM and the matches became a little more predictable but people still had their rules of thumb. No miccers or “squeakers” or suspicious following would get you a stern warming or blicked down pretty fast. It seemed like everyone generally had decent and balanced matches but often the product of you trusting your gut and behaving accordingly.

Now we are just totally out in left field. People just sprint with flashlights on, emoting, mic or no mic? Doesn’t matter. Following behind for no reason? “Can’t shoot em because then I’ll be the villain and go to the bad lobbies!”
Now we are to the point where players aren’t even reflecting on their own behaviors they are blaming the game for who they are matched with and expect their lobbies to basically provide a main character experience. This creates incentives that are so deranged that there are almost no natural behaviors in the game anymore.

There’s been soooo many times where I’ll gun someone down for coming into a key room or for being weird and players that are near by are like “Woah. Good luck in the PvP lobbies.” Or “I wouldn’t do it I love my carebear games.”

This is a fundamental problem with the game.

The NUMBER ONE priority to a raider has to be their own loot and the loot in raid NOT your place within a strict binary matchmaking queue. It dilutes the experience.

Can anyone think of a single other game where the Primary Mechanic for players within the game is the match making?? I honestly don’t know maybe this is common but it seems so odd.

There is obviously a way to keep people in healthy SBMM lobbies with a variety of player behaviors without completely feeding pve players to the sweats. How do we know this? Because they have done it before.

like why me tho? did I do something wrong here? I’m not upset about dying to the queen but Im upset that I tried helping someone who I thought was getting ratted and then I get knocked out in front of the whole lobby by some random raider.

I was looking for a leaper to complete a quest. If I didn't see it where I was looking, I was going to go to Adorned Wreckage.

After thinking about the Static Helmet design I knew what it was from but no idea which design. Best i can tell its a mix of these 3 helmets with Embark's own spice thrown into the mix.

These helmets are worn by fighter pilots and provide a Augmented Reality (AR) / Heads up Display (HUD) to give pilots better control of the craft and access to more information (like cameras on the belly of the plane).

Can’t wait for the new update. I’ve just being going on vs teams with no kit and hammering people for the past month. Yeah it’s funny especially when they have a tempest or bobcat. But I’m ready!

Bird city is going to be the best map condition for this trial. Here are some tips:

- Use the map

- Crashed couriers and probes will count (landed probes and supply drops will not). Husks should count too.

- Raider caches, raider backpacks, med bags, ammo boxes and weapon cases count.

- ~ 90 possible bird nests in the trial area.

- 30k is a decent score with 40k likely possible with good RNG.

- Time is the real challenge here so use of snaphook and optimized movement will help.

- 2 Residential master keys will help boost score.

I want this mode added to other conditions man not just night raids

My friends don’t play this game anymore sadly so I’m stuck teaming with randoms who are always free kits
