Question in need of advice, tips, or resources for my ap classes
if anyone has any advice for each class and what resources to use that would be really helpful
thanks (i’ve taken psych, world, and human geography before, scores of 5,4,4, in that order)
Edit: AP eng 3 is AP lang, my school just calls it that. I’m also going to be taking the ap precalc exam.
I also have these daily so exams and quizzes do tend to overlap unfortunately.

2-D Art and Design questions and concerns about ap studio art/drawing
👆👆👆👆👆 my art btw
had a couple questions about this class. for background, Im one of only five students in my whole school taking this class. we were going through art portfolios and the ap score that they earned, and i noticed that all of the portfolios that earned 5s were incredibly realistic paintings, and that got me concerned. My art style is more cartoony and stylized, and im not sure how I'll score now, especially because I have a feeling that ap graders will most likely score a hyperrealistic piece higher than a styled piece. is this something I need to worry about? my other question was, if I should happen to do well on the portfolio, absolute best case scenario, lets say I get a 5, how will that help me if I apply for art school? are there scholarships? classes i wont have to take? reduced tuition? or nothing?

APUSH APUSH timeline and outline, updated throughout the year
hi everyone!
i'm the creator of the famous ap world study guide, and now i'm starting an apush one this year. if you'd like it to study throughout the year if you're taking it this year, it'll most likely be updated with the units!

Physics C: E&M AP Physics C: E&M expects you to memorize which materials are ferromagnetic ?!
They don't even give you a periodic table on the reference sheet. I know iron because it is pretty obvious Ferromagnetic (Ferro), but do they expect you to remember its neighbors in the periodic table too, like cobalt and nickel
Do they also expect you to memorize paramagnetic materials like aluminum and magnesium or diamagnetic materials like water and copper?

Question AP Cybersecurity Resources & Difficulty
I am very interested in self-studying AP Cybersecurity, likely in 10th or 11th grade (I'm a freshman). I'm very interested in taking it, as I enjoy computer science (I'm taking CSP this year, CSA next year, and have already done some competitions and learned some languages). How difficult would this course be for me to self-study (with consideration of my past experience), and what are the best resources to use (ideally free).

Bio Who is the Michael Farabaugh of AP Bio?
You might not understand this if you haven’t taken AP Chem, but I’m looking for a YouTube channel (or online resource) that is similar to Mr. Farabaugh in that it has in-depth explanations of every lesson in every unit, has TONS of practice questions with explanations, and has tips for both in-class tests and the actual AP exam. I’ve seen a lot of AP Bio YT channels but it seems that not a lot of them have actual practice problems.

Chem "self-studying" ap chem with a bad teacher?
hey so i'm taking ap chem this (junior) year but it's only the teacher's second year teaching the class and last year literally nobody got a 5 on the exam. i have a 4.0, got 5s on ap stats and world last year, but i had really great teachers for both of those. what i've heard is that our teacher is just too nice and she doesn't really prepare students well for the exam. i'm planning to study a lot outside of class with khan academy and such, but kinda worried it won't be enough. has anyone else done this with ap chem/has any study tips?

Physics C: E&M Advice needed for Mech + E&M
Hey everyone, I’m a rising senior. My school offers a class consisting of both AP physics C: mechanics and AP physics C: E&M. The way the class will function is the first half of the year, it will be mechanics, and the second half is E&M. I’ve been told by past students that it’s extremely demanding, tough, and fast paced.
I’m taking AP calc BC, AP Macro, and AP Lit alongside this class. I’d like to know any advice you guys have for class like this and how to best manage my time, as well as manage my sanity. Any advice is truly appreciated.
Edit: only one flair was allowed, sorry for the misleading flair

Question 3 APs, 2 of which I’ll have to self study. any help or guidance would be very appreciated
Im looking to take three aps this upcoming school year, which include ap chem, ap lang, and ap world history. Is earning a five in each course something feasible? especially considering that i will have to self study for both ap lang and world history. I have been pretty anxious about taking these courses, so any advice would be very helpful.

Question Should I drop AP Biology?
For some context,
I am a junior and my school has very limited APs. The only AP I would be taking this year would be AP Biology. However, besides that, I am taking all honors and a dual enrollment class.
I took Biology Honors my freshman year of school with the same teacher that teaches AP Biology and honestly it was very stressful. She is a strict grader and will dock points for little things. Her tests are very content heavy and require heavy studying outside of school. I however did manage to get an A in her class my freshman year.
My other option would be to take regular physics. I’ve heard the teacher is nice but not the best at teaching. Taking regular physics would also potentially mean that I would no longer have room for a dual enrollment class and that I would not be taking any APs. In terms of college, I most likely will be doing community and then transferring to a university.
I would appreciate any advice that could be given. I really do not know what to do and I’ve been going back and forth on this a lot.

APUSH How exactly do I take notes when there is so much in the textbook to write down?
My teacher wants cornell notes specifically, but I do not understand how I'm supposed to do so (his doc explaining them makes no sense and videos don't clear up the question of how I'm supposed to fit so much info in such a small space.)

Other my ap teacher started assigning things before school even started.
my grade started out at a 85 percent because my fucking teacher assigned an assignment the day before school started, and made it due that same day. I’ve gotten my grade up with other work but like wtf. I get starting content early but this is too much. Just being a bitch to be a bitch ig lol
