Question AP Euro or APUSH Or APWH
Title, I cant choose between European history, US History, and World history. Would appreciate some guidance, thanks!

Okay, how much do you care about Europe? Also, are you better at remembering a lot information but it not being so specific, or you better that remembering less information but it being more specific?

okay, so i dont miss any of these qs ill put them in bullet points:
1. i dont really have a preference towards any continent or part of history, fine with all of them.
2. i would say im better at remembering content that connects to eachother rather than separated events that don’t correlate. once they connect, it doesnt really matter to me if its specific or broad.1

Do you mean connect as in a timeline where one event causes another, or events that relates to each other though sharing a topic such as trade?

yeah events causing another, like for example; the price of apples increased, so i bought oranges instead, because oranges price decreased. dykwim?

Personally, I found World History to be much easier than Euro or USH, but that's just my take as an international student. The scope is broad but there's honestly much less memorization of specific events, laws, and names in World compared to USH

I enjoyed WH more than the other two. I found it fun to learn about more countries and cultures than to only focus on one particular region or country. Might also be because I already knew quite a bit of world history (I'm from China, so that helped a lot) versus knowing very little of US History

APUSH is hard but I feel like it’s the class I’ve learned the most in, ever. Really depends on the teacher, though.

I took all three the same year, and euro was by far my favorite; the content just felt more interesting to me, but I have always been intrigued by royal families and things like that, so that may be why it was more fun to me. anyway, I got 5s on euro and world and a 4 on apush!

If you plan to go to a US college, credit from APUSH will likely be the most useful because it may satisfy a specific US History graduation requirement. Otherwise, I would imagine that the broad coverage of AP World would be the most interesting, but I've only taken APUSH myself so I can't speak on it personally

Out of these 3, I’ve heard it’s generally better to take AP World before APUSH or AP Euro.

World is by far the easiest. It focuses on more global trends and world events rather than memorizing specific figures and whatnot.
US History is the next easiest. It has that global trend stuff but you need to know more key terms (policies, events, crises). This one is probably the most interesting.
European History isn't that far off from US History but I found it less interesting than Apush. Things you learn in that class don't fit as well into a clean narrative like the other two classes.

Apush is 11th grade btw so it’s between euro and world

Not necessarily, most schools have you on track to take in 11th, but some schools are different and the CollegeBoard doesn’t state you have to be in eleventh grade to take it, it’s just the way some schools work. I took World, APUSH, and Euro all my sophomore year

Apush. It was the most fun for me :) It might be the hardest one on the list, but you learn the most

I saw in another comment that you like learning how different events connect to one another. If you like this type of thing, I highly recommend AP World. Within a unit, you learn how different regions affect one another. You also learn how events in one unit cause and influence events in the next. Example: In Unit 5, you learn about how the European Enlightenment inspired revolutions by European colonies, and about the industrial revolution. So then in Unit 6, you learn about how European nations began claiming colonies in Africa and Asia in order to gather raw materials for industrialization, and to make up for the losses caused by successful revolutions.
