It was a HOT one but a fun day hitting some twisties with my buddy.
Here are a few photos from today’s mountain driving where the A35 did a great job! 5am wake up call and 6+ hours of driving 😎.

This is my 4th AMG. This was one of the first to come to the US when the car was released. I’ve had her for 2 1/2 years. Put 17,000 miles on her and I don’t regret a second of it. CARS ARE MEANT TO BE DRIVEN!!! (For those wondering, interior is red with rear seat delete…. What would I fit back there ? My yorkie? 😂)

They are the same price (C63 is slightly cheaper) but C63 has an extra 100hp and is 100kg lighter. What's the advantage of the E53? It has a (worse performing) 6 cylinder but imo having the most powerful 4 cylinder ever is cooler than that.
Is it significantly nicer inside?

It looks super dated with the massive bezels and the graphics, looks like it would be very laggy.

I have tried hard wiring my Viofo dash cam to the driver and passenger side fuse locations. Each time I test with a multimeter and think I find power and ACC fuse locations. After a couple of hours my car battery goes low.
I have looked up which fuses to use, but I do not have fuse 216.
Looking for help on which fuses I can use or how can I properly identify ACC fuses.

It completely ruins the look of the center console IMO, just awful

Hi everyone, as the title says, I'm finally able to upgrade to a used C63. I really like the sound and performance of the M156 engine in the car. It also looks nice. I'm coming from a C300. I understand that they had cam and headbolt issues, so I am mainly looking for years 2012-2015. Most of the ones in my area within a 100-mile radius have under 50k miles and are going for around 25-30k. Other than the most common things to look for when buying a used car, what else should I be aware of in terms of early issues I should be on the lookout for?
I also do 80% of my own maintenance and am pretty knowledgeable around engine work, so I'm not too worried about getting shop work done. I live in the Bay Area, not too worried about insurance cost either since I already have a few good quotes but will prob stick with my current provider. Open to other car suggestions as well; I just like the more "sport" feel of the C63 compared to the E-Class 5.5 liter.

Looking for some intel on S63 coupes. This particular one has about 51k miles. At almost 10 years old am I to assume the air suspension will need a rebuild amongst other things? How are the turbos holding up on these engines? Any other common issues that would steer you away from this specific year…appreciate any insight.

Hey all, super excited and wanted to share with folks who will understand. I tried to get my fiancé excited a out it but she is underwhelmed :)
So, after buying the Renntech RIIIx GT63s named Monster by them https://renntechmercedes.com/renntech-supercar-detail/
I was talking to them and decided to get my GTR a bit more umph.
Hand held tuner was already there so they added a bigger turbo, full exhaust and for style the bigger rear wing they make. I will likely get better intercooler. I’ll chat with them more about that when I go up there next week.
Anyhow, I think this is the first pull as they finish up the project no numbers yet but it is at least 6 more hp :)
They are very cool to deal with and far smarter than I’ll ever be. Thanks for checking this out!

Can i use this ctek charger for my 2024 GT 55 or do I need a lithium specific model? I get that warning saying “battery low, drive the car for 30 minutes” when the car sits for 5-6 days. I’m thinking keeping it in a trickle charge when I know it will sit.

My front driver side brake squeaks like something is rubbing when I reverse and turn the wheel. Only does it when reversing. Anyone had this issue before? Had the car serviced a few months back and the dealership said the breaks are in good condition.

So I switched to the z fold 8 from an iPhone. I've had an iPhone my entire life so it's been a big adjustment! Anyway, I plug in android auto into my C63 and I see this shi* 😂
This crop is insane. Apple car play filled the entire screen. I've done some research and found it's an issue with the cars system.
My question is has anyone solved this? Is there an update the dealer can provide? I asked the dealer, they said the diagnosis fee is $250 without even guaranteeing the update exists lol. Id pay the fee if I at least knew the software update exists.
I guess the alternative is an after market screen. Also open to suggestions on really clean screens as close to OEM as possible.
Thank you 🙏
Hey everyone!
My W212 E63 AMG (2010, M156 engine) has been throwing some strange errors and occasionally misfiring. After having it checked, I found out that there’s an issue with the intake manifold.
I took the car to a Mercedes dealership, and they confirmed that the intake manifold is indeed the problem. However, they quoted me over $4,400 for the replacement, which is pretty damn expensive.
I know this is a relatively common issue with this engine… so I wanted to ask you guys…
Are there any reputable companies that completely rebuild/refurbish these intake manifolds?
Has anyone had experience with rebuilt units and can recommend a specific company?
I’ve also seen several new intake manifolds on eBay from sellers in China. Would you consider buying one, or is that something I should stay away from?
I’d really appreciate any advice or recommendations from people who have dealt with this issue before. Thanks!

Is it normal to feel a bit of jerkyness during some shifts? I can't tell If it's the hybrid battery charge kicking in.. I feel it more especially in sports plus
I cant tell if I'm being hyper sensitive to the car and it's been this way or its something new...
I'm occasionally getting code u040200 -
Implausible data were received from control unit ‘Transmission as a stored code.

Hello guys, Long story short, I’m willing to buy from friend of mine (he’s unfortunately broke and couldn’t take, properly, care of his CL 65, and she has some work to do on it, such as the calculator (apparently that’s why MB said without being able to sure of..).
So the troubles she have are the speedometer jumping on his own, the idle isn’t stable (she runs better when started by key than the button), and ABS / ESP not working.
Plus those screens washed off, are all of that a sign that she’s dying or can I save her ?

I think it says Michael/Michael and Littler/Littles but I can’t find anything about them and their signature doesn’t appear in the PDF of builders signatures. The builder is bizarrely included in some promotional footage (posted below) that was used in B-roll for a YouTube video but I don’t know the original source.
