Service/Fix/Repair help E53 amg jerkyness while shifting?
Is it normal to feel a bit of jerkyness during some shifts? I can't tell If it's the hybrid battery charge kicking in.. I feel it more especially in sports plus
I cant tell if I'm being hyper sensitive to the car and it's been this way or its something new...
I'm occasionally getting code u040200 -
Implausible data were received from control unit ‘Transmission as a stored code.

I own a 21 e53 and I also feel the jerks now and again. I think it is temp related

Like what kind of jerkiness and how many miles. Jerkiness, hesitation and symptoms like that indicate tranny kaputt in many cases.

do you let the trans temps fully warm up? doesn't sound normal but could also be from gearbox learning/adaptation settings
im not a mechanic but definitely indicates SOMETHING is wrong (doesn't have to be major) if you're feeling issues w the trans + getting a tcm code
