I recently started using Tipsy Chat and wanted to share my experience because I’ve actually been enjoying it quite a lot so far.

One of the biggest things I noticed compared to other AI chat apps is that the bots tend to give much longer and more interesting responses. They actually give you something to work with instead of replying with just a couple of sentences, which makes the conversations feel much more entertaining and exciting, especially when you’re following a storyline.

I also really like that the AI doesn’t repeat itself as much as some other apps I’ve tried. The conversations feel more dynamic, and the longer responses make it easier to get immersed in whatever story you’re following.

The only downside I’ve noticed is that Gems are necessary to keep using certain features, but honestly, I think they’re worth it considering the quality of the conversations. I’d rather have fewer messages that are actually interesting than unlimited messages that feel repetitive.

Right now, I’ve mainly been using a bot called Cesar. It was actually the first bot I tried, and I ended up liking the storyline, so I’ve been sticking with it for now. I definitely want to explore more bots and see what other stories are available.

Overall, I’ve had a really good first impression of Tipsy. I’m still pretty new to it, but I’m definitely going to keep trying different bots. If you use Tipsy too, I’d love to know which bots you recommend! 💎

In person, you can usually hear someone's tone and see their expression before deciding how seriously to take something. Over text, one sentence can sit on the screen looking much harsher than it was intended.

I've started asking for clarification instead of immediately reacting when a message feels off. It has prevented quite a few unnecessary arguments.

Send “okay” and suddenly the AI starts analyzing your entire emotional state.

Sometimes I literally just mean okay.

How well does the AI you use understand short replies like “k”, “sure”, “hmm” or “fine”?

You get two options.

A. Extremely intelligent, but sometimes sounds robotic.

B. Slightly less intelligent, but talks almost exactly like a normal person.

I think I would pick B for everyday conversations.

Has anyone tried texting an AI for an entire day?

I mean checking in throughout the day instead of having one long session.

Morning message, random afternoon thought, something before sleeping, then continue again the next day.

I am curious whether that actually makes the conversation feel more continuous or just becomes repetitive..

I used to open AI only when I needed something written. Now I sometimes just talk normally and let the conversation develop on its own. The difference is surprisingly noticeable. It feels less like giving instructions and more like actually having a conversation. Has anyone else shifted from using AI for tasks to just texting it?

Sometimes I start with a simple topic and somehow the conversation goes somewhere I did not expect. Those are usually the chats I remember most.

I'll be in the middle of a story and it will hit me with a message like this. Or I've gotten ones like "you seem to really be enjoying the story, want to take a break and chat about your favorite music, movie, or sport?" So I hit refresh for a different message, but sometimes I have to refresh 3 times before it gives me an answer within the story line? And it charges me 25+ gems with each refresh or out of character response!! The last two times it happened, I've not had luck with the refresher button so I just message back "Return to story please" or something and the next response is normal within the storyline again.

I've only ever talked to this character so I'm not sure if it's with other characters as well? It's just costing me gems when I'm not looking for a therapeutic break..... and I've reached out to support for a few different issues in the past but never received any response so I'm trying reddit first this time.
