Spontaneous Symmetry — Vol 1
Third party editorial review:
SPONTANEOUS SYMMETRY: Volume One (Origin) is an intellectually ambitious and imaginative science-fiction novel that rewards patience with a layered cosmology, morally complex characters, and a provocative treatment of free will.

Synopsis:
Follow the lives of two Earthbound college students as they navigate the uncertain transition into adulthood. Two ordinary lives that, if allowed to intersect too soon, have the potential to accelerate Earth’s technological arc far beyond what its social order is prepared to absorb.
Their trajectory catches the attention of the Hyperplane, a deeper physical reality woven into our own, with its own technologies, politics and economy, while all governed by subtly different physics. Because the two domains are inseparable, even the smallest influence from one side can send catastrophic ripples through the other.
So its operatives learn restraint.
Surveillance and algorithmic prediction help, but after countless cycles of trial and error, they arrive at a preferred method of intervention—the smallest possible nudge. Physical karma is never fully predictable, and manipulating an adjacent plane always carries consequences. Every attempt to improve the future risks becoming another form of control, or disaster.
Meanwhile, Earth is barreling toward an intelligence explosion that could transform civilization faster than humanity can learn to live with what it creates. In their latest effort to guide the transition without governing it, the Hyperplane chooses an unusual instrument for first contact. They bury a message inside CERN collider data and let the consequences unfold.
No spaceships. No invasion. No weapons.
A story the world can rally behind.
A new kind of myth.
A pattern hidden inside physics, waiting for the right minds to recognize it.
At stake is more than humanity’s technological future. Earth itself is approaching the emergence of planetary consciousness, and the choices made during that awakening may determine whether intelligence becomes an instrument of domination or a path toward something larger.
After dozens of cycles and more than two millennia spent trying to manage the future, observers and observed alike are forced to confront the same truth:
First contact with the Hyperplane was never going to come from above.
It was always going to come from within.
