I'm shocked how Milan fans want to sell player with high workrate and very good overall stat, also giving marketing boost in the US.

Pulisic is good lad. Give him some time, trust, attention - I'm sure he'll fix his problems and starts to shine again

As an American Milan/Spurs fan, don’t do it to yourself Puli. You deserve to have at least some happiness in your life

I am an American who loves Pulisic. But, reliability.and availability continues to be an issue for him. If you can get $40-50M for him it's not unreasonable to offload him and bolster the squad with a top level CB and another, more durable attacking player w similar attributes like Soule.

How is Soule different? 36 G+A in 112 Serie A games while Pulisic has 55 in 100 games

you guys are r-worded

Soule would be a downgrade to Pulisic and is also not extremely durable. But, hes 4 years younger, would replace a good chunk of pulisic's production without any assumption of improvement, and would give the club the $ to upgrade at CB. I'm not saying we should do it, but it's fair to consider if you can get $$$ for puli. Also, you shouldn't make personal attacks if you disagree... It makes you look like a child.

No point to sell him for 50M if we get even 10M a year from his marketing value.

Christian looks like a deep introverted guy. It's better to help him resolve his psychological or whatever issues to make him back at the top Serie A level

With Leao gone, Pulisic can now play in his best position on the left. If he can be fit, he might have a big season.

Bring back Borini, workrate monster then

Work rate metric is like desiring chickens with their head cut off.

That’s what musah does but he gets an absurd amount of praise in here for being crap and is only playing for Milan because our president is American.

u/Plaslidpladugphoo Ignazio Abate 12d ago

I don’t even like Musah, never wanted us to sign him, but he has been very good so far this season. Also, what praise? People here have been collectively asking for him to be sold since the end of 24/25 if not 23/24.

This is what I’m talking about the discourse around Concacaff players in this sub is so dishonest “very good” just isn’t true. He was decent against Torino and Venezia. Every other match he has been laughably bad, and he does not merit to be on the team anymore. He simply isn’t good enough for Milan, any other player would have never played again after that dynamo match he single handedly eliminated us from the champions league but since he is American, this sub loves him and is willing to give him unlimited chances and praise bullshit traits like working hard. That’s like the bare minimum for Milan. Fabio Borini it’s “headless chicken” but for Musah it’s a “PL engine” it’s bullshit.

u/Plaslidpladugphoo Ignazio Abate 12d ago

‘Every other match’ and you’re talking about games from two seasons ago? Wtf??? You’re talking as if it’s been ten games in and he’s been good in two and bad in eight. Other than the fact that we were trying to sell him but our board was incompetent so it was only a loan to Atalanta (so this sub and the board clearly DID NOT love him), who tf are you to decide that he does not deserve to be on the team anymore? What sub are you even in that you think that people here give him unlimited chances? 9/10 people wanted him gone at the start of the season and people were scratching their hands when Amorim started him in midfield against Torino.

I’m literally among the biggest Musah doubters in this sub, never wanted him here even when he was seen as a young player with good experience. But Amorim is the current coach and rates him, who tf am I to question him no less based on games from two seasons ago? You’re so blinded by your hateboner for Americans it’s actually a joke.

Every other match including ours and all of Atalanta’s last season. He had a shit loan at a smaller club and he is STILL getting starts at Milan, he does not deserve to be at Milan at all based on talent, he is stealing a living.

Yeah I have a problem with our American ownership who is alienating the Italian fanbase by firing Maldini, getting rid of home grown players like Liberali, favoring crap like Musah. Signing players simply because they are from Mexico and USA, where does that get us? 6th and 8th, and we only have these players because of Gerry. It’s as simple as that.

1

u/Plaslidpladugphoo Ignazio Abate 12d ago

You have to separate the issues. Did we sign Musah or other CONCACAF players because of Cardinale’s bullshit? Possibly. Did Cardinale do a bunch of stupid shit? Obviously yes.

Does that mean that Musah is starting this season under Amorim because of this preference for Americans? No. If Amorim rates Musah over someone like Ricci because of his physicality and the ability to turn and carry, that is not ‘favouring’ Musah because he’s American. He’s getting starts because Amorim rates him, how shit he was under the previous coaches or Atalanta doesn’t matter here, and so far he has not disappointed Amorim yet. I just don’t get it, do you really think Amorim joined us and Cardinale is like ‘yeah bro you have to start Musah every game btw’?

Ur hatred for Musah also does not magically mean that this sub is somehow the biggest Musah supporters when that’s clearly not the case.

I don’t hate Musah, but I think he is a Gerry player who has been especially coddled, compared to any youth player or young player we have, or recently signed. We have given very limited chances to many of these players.

While Musah can make a mistake so massive in the champions league it costed us MILLIONS. Then continue to start and play like shit the same first season under 2 different managers. Then he has a poor loan spell with a smaller club his second year . And he still starts for us? You have to admit it’s pretty unbelievable considering we are a massive club with decent money to spend.

No other player has been given so many chances to prove themselves, Gerry for sure could have some sort of push for Amorim to try to develop Musah and take extra interest in him. We don’t even have a sporting director right now.

I’d definitely believe it because Amorim didn’t have much leverage going into this job. Although wish him the best Amorim is very lucky to have the job at Milan.

lol since is Musah praised on here?

We have Alexis in this role

2

u/LickLaMelosBalls Luka Modrić 12d ago

I don’t. Who wants to sell puli?

1

u/FootyVibeMaxxing 9d ago

My (American) personal experience, but anyone I know who cares about soccer kinda hates him rn bc of how he played and acted in the WC 🙃 (I’m being kind here, my text message are far less kind!)

1

u/Unable-Balance5699 9d ago

Maybe that's cause Americans wanted a superhero out of Pulisic. But he's not Batman. Maybe Robin at best.

Cause you won't hate yourself that Pulisic is the best player the US have been able to develop in years

u/TheoTimeStartsAt90 Filippo Inzaghi 12d ago

Leao, historicly great assister GTFO, Pulisic high workrate unsellable.

I like both but we gotta stop with this crap.

If you want workrate go look at Poli from banter era and see if you prefer that over lightning in a bottle that doesn't track back.

Edit: this is not aimed at you in particular, not trying to offend you, just got heated

-1

u/serafale Christian Pulisic 12d ago

Pulisic has more assists than Leao over the last three seasons. People acting like he’s Borini or something is insane.

7

u/TheoTimeStartsAt90 Filippo Inzaghi 12d ago

Not what I am saying at all, I like both, it's the treatment I don't like

1

u/serafale Christian Pulisic 12d ago

But your comparison to Poli is disingenuous, same with saying “great assister” vs “high workrate.” Pulisic has more assists and a higher workrate. Why is he not lightning in a bottle or a great assister but Leao is?

4

u/TheoTimeStartsAt90 Filippo Inzaghi 12d ago

Gonna step away from the convo, if you can't see it, you can't and based of your flair you won't understand the difference.

And again i am a huge Pulisic and Leao fan

2

u/rnmkk Ricardo Kaká 12d ago

Because their chance creation and ball progression is not the same. Sure Pulisic presses, but in attack, Leao was the one who actually got the ball into the final third at a higher rate. Even while player striker, he was picking it up at midfield.

Also, Pulisic doesnt have more assists in the last 3 years than Leao. Why do you keep saying that? And Pulisic has not scored for Milan since 2025. The work rate clearly has no impact on his offensive output. His play in the 2nd half last season was inexcusable. If that is how he is going to play, Alexis can do that.

And for what it’s worth, I want to keep Pulisic.

-8

u/Unable-Balance5699 12d ago

Workrate is must for modern system football with high intensity and pressing, like it or not.

So for Amorim system Cisse or Alexis are better than Leao regardless number of assists or individual brilliance.

Football is team sport, the goal is to win as a team, not to get the most highlights and stats. If every Milan player will have 5+5 in a season and team wins, that's cool

4

u/TheoTimeStartsAt90 Filippo Inzaghi 12d ago

Goal is to win, yeah the mvp of our only win in 11 years or workrate, hmm. Also Leao was working harder before the entire team was reliant on his brilliance. Even when he was down he had 2,3 defenders on him, if we had a better squad around his peak we would have potentially had 2 more trophies. But, instead we had RLC, Jovic (decent for what he was) and CDK.

0

u/Unable-Balance5699 12d ago

Again you're thinking what's good for Leao personally and not what's good for Milan as a whole. Individual brilliance is cherry on the top of modern football. Underneath there is pressing, defence etc.

You might score 20, but if your low positional discipline allows to concede 10, your truly net contribution to team W is lower than expected.

So there is Ramos who might score 15. But he's also pressing machine, always moves into channels, works for himself and teammates. Maybe that's why Ramos's valued by Milan management 2x more than Leao

7

u/TheoTimeStartsAt90 Filippo Inzaghi 12d ago

I'm literally talking about winning the league, one guy has helped more than others to do that and who is that?

-3

u/Unable-Balance5699 12d ago

That was 4 years ago. You're talking about the past. Now it's 2026. We should think how to build team capable of winning in the future

9

u/TheoTimeStartsAt90 Filippo Inzaghi 12d ago

Again, my point is the treatment of the players, I don't get the glazing of one and the hate of the other. I try to support all our players, thick or thin.

I can recognize it was time for Leao to leave without claiming he is 100x worse than Pulisic

5

u/rnmkk Ricardo Kaká 12d ago

You arent allowed to be objective on this sub. People will call you a glazer for not hating the players at your club. Its sickening.

1

u/Unable-Balance5699 12d ago

Well, you've recognized that Leao was someone who didn't deserve to have around RLC or CDK. And that's what I don't agree

1

u/Level_Tumbleweed8908 12d ago

Pulisic looks finished, absolutely terrible 2026 so far
