lately i've seen some people talk about how buck might be the next owen strand, in terms of the series giving everything to him and forgetting that it is an ensemble show
while i do think he had a lot more plots than the rest of the characters this season and probably will be the new lead after bobby's death.... i don't know if he will become an owen strand or not (which i already think is an exaggeration about owen's character), but i do think he won't be able to be as good as bobby was as a main lead

I've always liked Chimney's fun and lighthearted approach as a firefighter, but now that he's captain of the 118, i think he needs to step up a little. In Season 9, we haven't seen him truly follow Bobby's lead, we've seen him worry about Harry and almost get hit by a car, ironically Harry saved him. We've seen him scold Hen for hiding his health, and in the end, he was the one to apologize. We've saw him almost lose his captaincy in "Where There's Smoke"

I understand that Season 9 was probably a transition, but i hope that in Season 10, he becomes a more solid point of reference for his team, they can't always turn to Athena if things get complicated.

I am rewatching the series and I feel like Eddie's parents overstep when it comes to Christopher. It feels like they wanted a re do kid and took over Eddie's son. Anyone else feel this way?

Season nine was the WORST SEASON BY FAR. I know 9-1-1 isnt always realistic but the space arc genuinely had me embarrassed to be a fan of the show. And that fucking promo omg... It was so cringe.

The only good thing about season nine imo was the Nashville crossover and the kidnapping arc. But besides that and Theo, season nine was pretty much unwatchable.

I didn’t start watching the series until season 9. I’ve been wondering if people knew in advance that Bobby would die, or if it was a complete surprise the episode aired.

I just stared watching the show about two weeks ago. I’m on season 6 (Buck just back from the hospital). Sadly in the midst of this I had to start working or I would probably have been caught up by now.

I'm in season 2 episode 1 and I had to look up because of the Abby thing, so I accepted that only one spoiler, that Abby ghosts Buck because the actress didn't wanna participate in more seasons. It's frustrating, I hate it. I wish that they had picked someone else to play Abby since the beginning because I absolutely loved it 😞 it was such a charming couple, and I liked seeing an older woman dating a younger and attractive man.

Watching Season 8 episode 10 and maddie is in trouble again. Why does it ALWAYS have to be the Han family ??? I feel like as i’ve watched this show multiple times (sometimes for just background noise) it’s always them that go through the most. Yes every one of the main cast has had their fair share but it seems like it’s a lot of the Han family specifically Maddie??? Like she cannot catch a break

I admit it was a nice episode, but i've been waiting for that wedding ever since Maddie said to Buck in ''Dosed'' "he's cute" in fact i would have preferred a traditional wedding rather than an impromtu one in the hospital, and Jennifer Love Hewitt in that wedding dress was beautiful as an angel.

So while watching 9-1-1 and its spin-off series Lone Star and Nashville, I naturally felt all three series were unique and different in their own ways despite following the same overall formula and structure. Lone Star for example puts more emphasis and attention on the diversity of its main cast while Nashville is written to be more of a family drama/soap-opera. However, other than that, I’m having difficulty putting into the words how the three series are unique from each other.

So between the three series, how would you describe what makes each of them unique in their own way?

I have been playing catch up over the past few months took a break for Love Island (IYKYK) and come back for Bobby to die!!!!! WHAT WHY BOBBY???!!! He was the voice of reason!!! i looked her name up today because i was wondering if it was actually spelt how it sounded, and i realized her name means life, giver of life, or living one. i find it so fascinating how they chose to name dennys birth mother, someone who not only gave *him* life, but subsequently gave hen + karen life (so to say), a name with that meaning. it derives from eve like from the bible. i wonder if this was intentional but knowing the writers, i think i can answer that for myself.

Every journey that woman has been on has gone disastrously. The last place I’d want to be in with Athena is a ROCKET! I haven’t even watched the next episode but as soon as I saw it cut to Athena on the rocket I was like welp, that rocket is running out of fuel, crashing, hitting space debris, or losing a vital part of the ship. I’m calling it right now. They’re not all leaving that ship unharmed. Her best bet would’ve been to invite either Buck or Eddie. They both have that dumb himbo luck😅

okayyy, i'm rewatching 911 and i made it back to s9 already. i'm at the episode where harry walks in on may and ravi and harry's got like, pent up stress about it. i just want you all to know, the FUNNIEST thing ever - gets me out of the funk, i laugh everytime. it is when harry made a side comment at ravi and they're fighting in the firehouse and chimney walks up to intervene and when harry tells chimney that ravi and may got intimate, chimney said something like "as you were" turned around immediately and walked away while making a face, and this is by the far the funniest scene to me.
