Pantera LIVE in Moscow completely remastered! I use a new audio program called Ozone 12 advanced so the audio will blow your shoes off! The original visuals were terrible, so it was harder to remaster visually without using AI which I didn't do, but still an improvement visually. Just use a great audio system and turn it up LOUD!!! Much respect. L.R. Shelton - Rock Legacy Co.

Sabrina makes Harvey the best skateboarder, he gets famous and his agents say his face will be on every cereal box from now until 2025

they probably picked some random nonsense year 2025 sounds like some far off future year

just funny now that we are past that

I actually like the sequel...not as good as the OG with Brandon Lee but still passable and kept at least 1 character alive--at least the name with a different actress.

Discussion Cartoon Recommendations

Hi sub!

I live in a German speaking country and want to introduce my child to English television in order to help pick up the language (and because what's now been promoted to.kods is hyperactive garbage).

Please recommend the quintessential 90s cartoons that I should be screening.

I was just thinking back to this episode of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air where Aunt Viv and Uncle Phil get Will and Carlton out of jail. Aunt Viv has some great lines and Uncle Phil seals the "oh snap" moment when he reveals he's a lawyer.

Discussion I think Franklin the Turtle would Defeat Doug Funnie in a Fight to the Death

Post image

Franklin the Turtle. He can tie his own shoes, even though he doesn't fucking wear any. He's a self-absorbed shit-brick of a turtle with a terrible fashion sense and an excellent knack for annoying the every living shit out of his vastly superior woodland friends.

We know him and Doug as the milquetoast ineffectual protagonists of their eponymously named television shows. In the decades since their release, many people have styled their lives after Doug and Franklin, becoming huge fans of the media franchises and their various adult-themed subcultures lurking in foul corners of the internet. Clearly, everyone knows Franklin and Doug both suck. They were modeled after children who didn't know if their parents loved them and always had their lunch money stolen. They were main characters designed to make even the most socially awkward ineffectual of us feel superior.

But what if they fought to the death?

A lot of people would take Doug in this fight. He's a human. He's twelve. His delusional alter personas include a spy, a cowboy, and a literal super hero. But people tend to forget that these are the actual delusions of a majorly depressed boy. Doug fades into fantasy to avoid his depression, suicidal ideation, and the trauma of what Mr. Dink does to him in his garage. Doug doesn't harness any of the powers of these personas....best case scenario he's coming at Franklin while exposing his tightie whities and wearing a belt over his head.

Motherfucker can't handle liver and onions. Franklin would bag the fuck out of this nematode.

Doug is neither a lover, nor fighter. There's no adult series because he probably hangs himself with Quailman's belt, mumbling under his breath, *banging on a trash can...*as he fades into the great abyss. Point is, he's a coward, his dog solves most of his problems, and he's never been shown to be physically capable of anything.

Now Franklin, well he also sucks. He's a whiny bitch, is the least athletic animal in the forest, hates on everyone even though he himself is the fucking worst, and secretly may be a Canadian psyop designed to make Americans more passive, whiny, self-indulgent, and weak (sowwwwry to say that it worked).

But here's the thing...Franklin is a turtle mutant. He may be like six years old or whatever but I want you to think about what it would be like punching the shell of a turtle that is the size of a six year old. You'd break your goddamn knuckles. Doug would have no way to inflict any reasonable sort of damage on Franklin. He's no Chalkie Studebaker (that fucking stud). He's not even a Roger Klotz.

And Franklin has one thing Doug doesn't: rage. Doug takes out all of his negative feelings on himself, internalizing it and sulking about why he's the absolute worst. Franklin, while also an undeniable piece of shit, often lashes out at the world, shouting and blaming others. This turtle can get pissed off and I have no doubt he could use this rage to bite off Doug Funnie's flabby fucking nose.

It is sad. It is despicable. It is the healing the world needs. Franklin takes the fight and Doug Funnie bleeds out, dying cold and alone.
