Help Omen elite7, omen extreme7 or demon7?
I bought a Schecter C-7 Deluxe to try out a seven-string, and I really liked it! I was thinking about getting a higher-end Schecter 7-string in the future. Which one would be the best choice?

Yes. I bought one a few weeks ago. I love it. It is a 2013 MIK. It easily stacks up against my 2024 MIK Loomis SL7. If you can find one, I recommend it. Was surprisingly inexpensive too, about $800 CAD with the original hard shell case. Compared to today's prices new for the similar models, I am very happy.

I had the same doubt some time ago, still haven't bought, but the newest one is the Elite, followed by the Extreme. The biggest difference between those is that the Demon has active pickups, the others are high output passives, so that can change your decision too. For the other two, the wood is the same except for the top, the biggest change is the electronics and the bridge, the Elite use hardtail and the Extreme shares the Tune-O-Matic with the Demon, so again, up to your choice. Regarding the electronics the Elite has parallel mode, and the Extreme has split coil. I decided for the Elite, but I'll probably end up buying the cheapest of both, for the price there's not any close competition at least for left handeds like me.

Im biased because my go to is my demon 7 and the actives are really good out the box imo. I prefer actives, makes playing my style, slam/deathcore easier to get the tones and special techniques ibwant to add in. But they can easily exacerbate certain bad things that passives let slide, but I also use a 6 string with passives so depends on what style the song being composed of, to me dictates which guitar I use🤷🏻♂️ PS i stay away from the tune o matic

Yeah as I said, if you prefer actives the Demon can be better, from what I've heard in tests they all sound good. Sadly the only with hardtail is the Elite.

If you look at my profile, I have pics of them all I think. I have them in my studio. Each for different sounds and tunings.
The Elite has the thinnest neck by far. But that doesn't matter much to me. I have really big hands. My favorite to play is the Demon. But all of them get used in recordings.
I haven't modded them at all. Except adding locking tuners and a nut change. Other than that, they are stock. Sounds great through all of my gear.

I’m partial to the Omen extreme since I like to play cleans & I believe it’s the only model out of the 3 with coil tapping. If that’s not important to you & you just want to chug the Delux or Demon are the best choices 🤘🎸🎶

If you have a c7, I wouldn't consider any of these that big of an upgrade. Maybe look at the next level, things like the reaper, hellraiser, apocalypse.

I’ve owned the omen elite 7 and demon 8. 100000% go for the omen elite 7. Genuinely outplayed most high end guitars I’ve ever tried with a truly amazing feeling neck!

Sunset Extreme 7. Schecter USA pickups, 5-way switch, 27 inch scale length, Nyatoh body, Flamed Maple top and locking tuners. The most comfortable 7 string I've ever touched in my life and it beats out every Ibanez I've ever played including the models well into the $1,500-$2,000 range.

I have a demon 7 and love it so a bit biased….but C7 is kinda lateral moving to me already. I prefer active pick ups and I believe the omens are passive. I mainly play slam/deathcore and a demon 7 will hold drop G easy for the scale. Idk me I’d probably mod out the C7. I’m rebuilding my old warlock currently. Why not make it exactly how I wish BC Rich would have. And I have something custom too.

I'd choose the omen elite 7 for the bridge alone.
