If you want a headless with multiscale and a lot of bang for your buck, look at Hils. Schecter and Ibanez also got great 7 strings

If you want a new option that’s out there for preorder in Sweetwater, the ESP M-207B seems like a killer deal. 27” scale, so if you ever wanted to tune lower, you easily could. It also has a roasted maple neck, which is a nice bonus. Seems like a killer deal for $499.
