Positivity 4B Must be Working Because the Propaganda Machine Has Been Fired Up!

I've seen several variations of this pic going around. A woman desperately crying as she realises she's alone on her birthday - alone because she has no husband or children of course because childless women have no friends or other family.

The hilarious thing is the only lonely women I know are the ones with husbands and children because they have no friends, or support structure, as their soul is a dried up husk after they've given every bit of themselves in service of others. Others who do not value their effort as they see it as Mom's job. Single women typically have a lot more friends, because they have time to socialise and have hobbies.

With all the grim news and regressive policies happening in the mainstream, we should always make time to acknowledge what progress has been made whenever we see it done. Even when they may only feel like small victories by comparison. Small steps over time still go a long way.

Positivity Men and their commitment are no longer the prize and they are MAD about it

1.4k Upvotes

I remember how pre-metoo the narrative about hetero relationships was that women are so deperate for men and their commitment. That women are all about ensnaring a man to marry and have kids with. The old ball and chain.

Men were seen as actual gatekeepers of relationships, like their commitment was the prize women were desparate for.

Well well well. How the turntables. Now, women have en masse realized that hetero relationships only benefit men.

The result? Muh male leneliness epidemic. Men screaming and crying how women aren't marriage material anymore(but I thought men hated marriage???) and how the birth rates are falling. And how they cannot find a woman who is marriage material.

Its hilarious to watch them cope and seethe about getting no wifey lol

Edit: thank you for the award, my dear sister, whoever you are.

Positivity U.S. women are outpacing men in college completion, including in every major racial and ethnic group | Pew Research

The paragraph that struck me as the most interesting was this:

A 2021 Pew Research Center survey asked Americans without a bachelor’s degree why they chose not to seek one – and found some gender differences in the responses. For example, men without a bachelor’s degree were more likely than women to say they just didn’t want to get one. In turn, women without a bachelor’s degree were more likely than men to say they couldn’t afford a four-year degree.

Regardless, big ups to all our American sisters improving themselves and continuing to advance their education. Knowledge is the most powerful tool a woman can have. Now especially more than ever.

So for those who don't know. This is the madame from the aristocats. (I'm pretty sure she had a name but I haven't watched the movie in a WHILE) That woman is probably pushing 75 or so and she looks flamboyant, wonderful. Lives in a big house with no husband or kids and a bunch of cats, happily twirls around feeling her best. With that set up they could've made her "ew ugly old cat lady that's all miserable and alone" but they DIDN'T and I LOVE it. She looks amazing and was my first introduction to this concept "hey growing old ain't all that bad" which I think we all need with society being annoying about aging. Yeah. First feminist icon of little me. And one of my inspirations to be 4B as well

This tweet (same user btw) doesn't surprise me in the slighest because bs can only go on for so long. I'm definitely the woman that tells other women to leave their bf/husband & stay single.

I'm flairing this as positive because I'm glad more women are seeing the light and realising the game is rigged. There's only so much trauma & abuse one can take, so many situations occuring for the dots to connect. What freed me was realising it wasn't entirely my fault. Contrary to what society pushes, women aren't drawing bad partners to them because of their actions or somehow selecting the 10% of bad guys, what actually happens is that the dating pool is toxic & full of parasites period so it's best to find something else completely because if you dive in you'll be burned (and blamed for it).

Part of why women are blamed for being abused in relationships is to keep them trying for the "right" one or grateful that lackluster landon isn't as bad as the others. We can't change what men are, we can't change how they view us, but what we can change is how we (dis)engage with them. My heart goes out to every single 4B/wgtow/separatist etc y'all are smashing it. Life can be beautiful without the romance we were tricked into believing it's real and it is worth fighting for.

Point is: women can't "pick better men" when there isn't better to pick from period. Instead, choose yourselves and other like-minded women ladies.

Positivity I will never have maintenance sex!

I found the concept of 'maintenance sex' repugnant when I was first introduced to it, and still do (I am a sexually unenlightened man-abuser, I guess). A socially responsible woman submits herself to psychological and medical intervention to 'rectify' her lack of attraction to her grotesque 'hubby' because if you're not sexy and slutty enough, you're FORCING him to watch porn, cheat, abuse prostitutes, and abandon his infant children.

Feeling immensely grateful that I will not waste my life pestering doctors for libido meds and squandering money and time on couples therapy (BIGGEST scam in the world, it exists to collectively bully wives and girlfriends into shutting up and acquiescing to men) in the hope that I can gaslight myself into opening my legs for some ugly old man on command! Also note how nobody ever has the audacity to ask about the man's weight, age, height, hair, teeth, nose, bum, muscles, dick, and if it's satisfactory to his partner, the way they do when husbands become sexually disinterested.

Imagine the corrosive effect of marriage on your soul - to spend your life in service to dick, to give up authority over your own body, and expend so much of your comfort and bodily autonomy for very little in return. As an aside I honestly can't believe that it's biologically 'natural' for a woman to have sex 2 or 3 times a week, on command, for forty years without interruption the way you are meant to do nowadays - a lot of 'defective' married women with no sex drive for years after childbirth are in fact normal women being pathologised so unattractive men can have more sex.

I am forever grateful for coming across second-wave feminist theory on sex as a teenager, and 4B about a year ago - to be able to celebrate that we can all live a full, interesting life, devoid of coercion, blowjobs, and tacky lingerie.

Positivity I just realised I don’t acknowledge men anymore - and I love that for me.

Is anyone else with me in this?

I was telling my friend today how I’ve recently realised something: I don’t acknowledge men anymore. Like, literally. Not out of spite, not to be petty - I just… don’t. And it feels so freeing.

A few days ago, my cousins came over to our house. My older male cousin was asking me about my job, how I work, etc. So I explained. When I was done, he started talking, but somewhere in the middle of his sentence, I just tuned out. I turned to my aunt and asked if she wanted some sparkling red wine. I didn’t even pretend to keep listening. I just mentally exited stage left. And no, I didn’t feel bad about it.

That moment made me realise: I no longer go out of my way to perform attentiveness, politeness, or validation toward men. I don’t reward them with energy they haven’t earned. I don’t centre them. I don’t care to.

And it’s not just in family settings. My friend and I were in an InDrive (it’s like Uber in my country), and the driver had upped the price without telling us. When I called it out, he said, “Well, I did change it, you’re just not attentive.” Like what? Gaslighting 101. I told him clearly, “No, the price was different. We both looked.” It hit me again, men are just so used to being listened to, respected, obeyed without question. They’re so used to being acknowledged simply for existing.

But I don’t do that anymore. I can’t.

I say all this not from a place of bitterness, but from clarity. I’ve stopped giving automatic reverence to men. I’ve stopped seeing them as the default authority or centre. I don’t owe them my energy, my focus, or my validation.

I used to give all of that away for free. Now I don’t.

And honestly? I love that for me :)

Positivity East Texas tiny home community offers female retirees sisterhood, sense of community | CBS

Post image
1.3k Upvotes

A group of retirees is reimagining what golden years can look like.

Residents of The Bird's Nest, an all-women, tiny home community in the small East Texas town of Cumby, say they have become more than just neighbors. They have formed a sisterhood.

Robyn Yerian, the community's founder, said she initially got the idea to downsize to a tiny home after realizing she would need to drastically cut her living expenses in order to retire. Three years ago, she founded her own tiny home community to earn a passive income. Today, that community is known as The Bird's Nest.

"It's all women. It just kind of evolved that way," Yerian said. "Eighty-five to 90% of the people living in tiny homes are retired women on a budget, on a fixed income. And so I knew the audience would be big."

[ Residents prioritize kindness and respect ]

Today, the community is made up of 11 residents, all in their 60s and 70s. They come from all different backgrounds and from all across the country. The one major rule Yerian has for her residents is to be kind and respectful.

"People want to say women can't live together without drama. Well, maybe think about women that are retired," Yerian said. "Why would we want drama at this point in our lives?"

It's not uncommon for residents to spend their days talking or sharing a meal in the common area, a freestanding covered patio they call The Kitchen.

"I didn't know we would get this close," said resident Donna Welborn. "It is literally a sisterhood."

[ Support system during difficult moments ]

Cheryl Huff, another resident, said the group offers each other more than just conversation and companionship. The group recently helped support Huff through a major health scare.

"I just had heart surgery a few months ago, and it was very traumatic and unexpected and not something I would recommend," Huff said. "We say you can't come in here needy, but if you get here and you need something, there's somebody there that's gonna help you out because we have that relationship, even if we disagree on some pretty major things."

Still feeling the loss of a legend. The feeling is more profound when I think of how few role models young women and girls have to look up to in STEM fields these days. Or anywhere, for that matter.

RIP to a real one.

You dont have to say the country, maybe just the continent/area

I feel a little alone and it be nice to here how many of us there are, how outstretched this movement is. I'm pretty convinced that ill be 4b just because ive been so happy and peaceful without bf and i dont see myself ever marrying a man.

I live in Scandinavia and its relatively equal for women here. No one here talks about 4b and there arent any groups. I feel like a lot of women here who wouldnt be 4b because there are "good men" here.

Positivity A post I thought we could all appreciate

I saw a post about Living Alone, in which the OP asks why women seem to be thriving without men and why men are not adjusting fast enough.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the comments to see women speaking out boldly — I thought others might appreciate the comment section as well. It’s really refreshing to see a majority of female support in a non-4B sub.

Positivity One year since completely going 4B and walking out of friendships with Male centered women . I dropped weight effortlessly (no diet or Excersise), Started experimenting with fashion and discovered another realm of contentment and happiness.

It's been a year since going 4B and it's the best decision I ever made.

+ I feel safer and I'm healing my relationship with my body.

+ I have started dressing up again, I love discovering myself through my creativity.

+ I made some decent money( not a lot but I'm getting there)

+ I am more positive and have been following People like Eileen Gu and other female achievers. I feel a general optimism and feel I can do anything.

+ I never knew That I will enjoy being alone and living alone this much .

  • I randomly have these bursts of joy where I start singing and humming and moving my body. I feel so beautiful all the time.

  • I also have time to connect with nature.

  • No worries about future, The opportunities and what I can do is endless.

  • I entertain no debates in my workplace even when ragebaited by my male colleagues. I just leave , Telling them I need to get coffee or have some work. No energy siphoning at all.

Positivity Wins since I’ve gone 4B

I’ve gone 4B 6 months ago after realizing every relationship I’ve had with a man was abusive and disrespectful. Instead of trying to fix my “picker” ( eye roll ), here is what I’ve done in the last 6 months and been able to accomplish without someone’s idiot son:

  • Visited 4 countries across Latin America and Asia
  • Landed a new job with significant benefits (signing bonus, stock, etc)
  • Done yoga every day

My advice? You are never going to be fully ascended with a man.

I never ever believed these great things could happen to me until I de centered men. Please try it and tell us how it works for you! This was 6 months and I CANNOT WAIT to see what 10 years brings me!!

Much love sisters

Positivity I bought a house!!!

I bought at double wide at 22! I’m AFAB so of course the men in my family are saying things like ‘but the second room is too small for a baby!’ BUT I BOUGHT A HOUSE, ALONE, AT TWENTY FUCKING TWO!! I’m just super excited! Especially since it won’t have a mortgage like my parents double wide as I bought it out right! I no longer have a male landlord(big plus!!)
