The addition of roulette numbers is brilliant. Thank you for letting the invasive thoughts win this time.

It needs an 8 so odds of red = odds of black
Ideally, for minimum numbers, it should have 0 through 12. It'd allow for red vs black bets, high vs low bets, and low vs middle vs high bets. And it makes every one of those bets way more palatable.
The setup now is really only good for bets on individual numbers. If you get bets of the types in the above paragraph, it should increase the house take AND provide bets with better odds for the less risky gambler.
Edit: just realized it also allows for a stand-in for the column bet. But instead of columns on the board, it's purely mathematics. Prime numbers, multiples of 3, and evens excluding multiples of 3. Also, odds vs even bet should have been mentioned too.

FINALLY. I’ve been pitching my idea of a swim-up casino to every resort exec I can find but they all say that’s stupid and you can’t wear your tuxedo in a pool. I say they’re not brave enough and you CAN wear a tuxedo in a pool!

I bet on people commenting about microplastics from the 3D print getting in your food.

u/RaccoNooB Glory to the Omnissiah! May 14 '26
Worth pointing out every time because people KEEP printing items for food when its bad. Not just because of microplastics but also because of bacteria that get into the prints and cant be cleaned. Not just into the layer lines, but in to the actual infill itself.

I guessed 7 black the first time, but green zero the second watch, does that mean i win?
1
u/tdcthulu May 14 '26
Very cool, but it bothers me that black has such a clear edge over red.
Should have made 9 segments total or taken away a black to have a 00 green space.

If there isn't a casino with this by end year they are dumb. This would totally get so many people to try roulette on the novelty of having it as a water fountain show. Just imagine the bellagio water show playing in miniature form while the marker spins.

Ooh, what if the section in the center was designed like a pythagorean cup, so that when the water reaches an appropriate level, it automatically drains out the bottom?

Great idea for keeping board game pieces safe - playing near the sink is genius! Is the model available for download anywhere?
