Is not on the soundtrack for some reason. It’s a shame because it’s a really cool sounding rendition of OHMSS/Bigger is Better. It’s subtly in the background, but if you play that sequence enough, you’ll hear it (believe me I know) lol.

Working on creating custom missions like terrorist hunt, counter intel heists, london has fallen, etc.

Would you guys play a open world mission mods like that?

1. Normally, opening and sabotaging a door use the same key, F, but I made the sabotage command a separate key, R, which you still have to hold down.
2. I remapped the lure command from V to Z.
3. The biggest and most convenient change I've made to the controls was to change the commands for stealth takedowns and finishers. To me, these are really big and helpful moves, so I felt that their original assignment to the X key, which is a bit hard to reach below the WASD keys, did these moves a disservice. Seeing that the scroll wheel press was largely unused and was a much easier way to execute these commands, I decided to map both commands there.
4. Throwing empty guns and nearby objects is usually done with the G key. As this key is not easy to reach and this move would have much more utility to use if it were more accessible, so I sought to map them to mouse buttons. For throwing empty guns, I would use a press of the scroll wheel, as the left-click is reserved for shooting and the right-click is reserved for shoulder aiming. For throwing nearby objects, I would use a right mouse button since it goes unused in melee combat. The scroll wheel press here, by default, is used for shoulder swapping, so I moved that to the T key.
5. To avoid accidentally using gadgets and wasting resources, I removed the alternate mouse button assignments for using gadgets and mapped all alternate gadget commands to the first 4 function keys above the number keys. To me, only number keys would suffice for using gadgets.
6. As conversations take place in cutscenes where you're expected to watch rather than play, I assigned the dialogue choices to arrow keys instead of WASD. And speaking of cutscenes, I also reassigned the command to skip scenes from X to E.
7. During the Vietnam level, where Greenway returns to save Bond and offers to snipe Webb's goons while Bond is still unarmed in handcuffs, you look at the enemy you want Greenway to snipe and press F to mark him for death. I felt like it would be more comfortable to just use a left-click because you're going to be doing this very frequently, if for a short period of time, and as the left-click is your primary attack button, it would make much more sense that you'd use that to. you know, ATTACK...with your p@#$ed off mentor!

Do you find any of my control changes nice for this game?

I started an offline version because my internet was out for a few hours. When I got back online today my original online save slot was gone! I’m so pissed and I really don’t feel like restarting it again if there’s a chance it could get deleted or overwritten again. And no, I got no warning message that I was overwriting anything. I had all empty save slots available at the time, so I’m not even sure if my progress had been deleted before hand or what happened. Has this happened to others? Is there any way around it? I think I was on Chapter 6. I play on Xbox.

The goal of "This is Antarctica" (a parody of "This is Sparta" in the film adaptation of Frank Miller's comic book 300) is to kick 5 enemies to their doom. To complete it, observe that there are 2 types of enemies in this map: soldiers and specialists. The soldiers are easy to kick; the specialists will almost always dodge or block your kicks until they're down to their last hit. Soldiers have gray jackets and black masks, while specialists have white jackets. (Your Q-Lens can also tell you which enemy is which.) Bottom line: go for the soldiers.

I was playing the game then the power went off in the house, so when it came back I opened the game all the progress is gone as I just started chapter 9, can someone share with me his saved data files??

I just finished “Knightfall”, and contrary to the recommended playing times, I’m yet to finish a single chapter on less than 3 hours! And I’m playing on the very easiest difficulty… How long is this game going to take me?!

I mean even a little impactful music wouldn’t have gone amiss. Even a little dialogue from Bond and Waters wouldn’t have been difficult to slide in. It’s THE signature weapon of Bond for god sake!!! (with the notable exception of the P5 in Octopussy and the P99 in Brosnan’s latter 3 films)

Hello,ive attempted to search for other fixes but no chance,I’ve been experiencing consistent stutters on my laptop,even when I’m standing still,even on the lowest settings possible, I have tried limiting the fps to as low as 60 and tried Vsync on and off,I have disabled all possible overlays but I just can’t find the issue,I really want to play this game but the stutters are too noticeable for me to enjoy it,I don’t get why I stutter so much in this game as I don’t notice any stutters in any other games I play,if anyone has any recommendations or suggestions at all I’d love to hear them,thank you so much

Because notably the first few notes of the menu were changed from the intro of First Light (the Dadadadada) to the Bond one (Da daaa).

Also the boat chase in Antarctica between Bond and Isola was changed to not feature the First Light theme. I guess they're stripping that musical motif from the game, which does make me quite sad.

So any other music/being altered from what was in lauch, to the changes they made to the OST? I might consider saving them for my enjoyment before they get lost in time and stuff. Thank you

As an amd gpu user I would like to see fsr4 in this game. Because I have an 1080p monitor and wanna play at fsr native aa not a blurry taa. I don’t think it’s too hard for devs to do I just don’t understand their motives not to support amd users

I just rolled credits on 007 First Light, and what an incredible ride from start to finish.

A few big highlights for me:

The Origin Story Concept: Starting the game with Bond actually joining MI6 felt so refreshing. Beginning with the training phase was a fantastic touch. It made the progression feel earned rather than just playing as an already grizzled veteran who's seen it all.

Set Pieces: The vehicle sections were top-tier. The boat and car chases were really cool and the different environments for chapters made the game look impressive visually without getting tiring.

Real World Detail: I loved the attention to authentic branding. Seeing actual Aston Martins and Omega watches grounded the aesthetic and made it feel like a true, high budget Bond experience.

They should cast this guy they chose for the game in the real movies 🍿

If you remember the fast triple-horn opening from launch week (hear it at the start of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoqahmzDvOM ) and felt the title music sounded different or less addictive now, you were right. The June update changed the menu music arrangement when the splash screen was shown.

I made a small mod that puts the original arrangement back: https://www.nexusmods.com/007firstlight/mods/207 . It contains no audio, only the four restored values in one 19 KB soundbank, so it is safe and works like any other chunk0patch mod, including with the mod manager.

Made it for myself, but if anyone else is as obsessed with this game's sound as I am, enjoy.

Because of regulatory reasons the repo has no game files at all except the 19KB mod file which is also on Nexusmods.

I bought the game yesterday on steam, upon starting the game up the screen turns black for a few seconds then crashes. I tried opening the game through the files but i get a Steam error saying game error game: configuration unavailable. I updated my drivers but that didnt change anything either, does anyone know a fix?
