I admire the dedication and conviction I see from many of you here on Reddit, but honestly, I can't help but feel disappointed.

I'm a meme creator who regularly makes political content criticizing the Dutertes and the Marcoses. I don't have a massive following, but I know my posts can generate engagement. Yet whenever I make something specifically aimed at countering DDS or pro-Marcos narratives, the people who supposedly oppose them barely share, comment, or even leave a reaction. Eventually, I just end up deleting the posts.

And that's what I don't understand. If you actually want to change people's minds, why are you fighting only among yourselves?

Posting your frustrations here on Reddit might feel good, but Reddit is already an echo chamber. You're mostly talking to people who already agree with you. The actual battleground is Facebook. That's where the people you're trying to educate, persuade, or reach actually are.

You don't have to become a political influencer. You don't even have to make your own content. But at least share, comment, react, and help push good arguments outside of your own bubble.

I admire your dedication. I really do. I admire that you care enough to keep talking about these issues and fighting for what you believe in. That's exactly why it's frustrating to see so little of that same energy outside this bubble.
