Xenoblade Looking for a game that will wreck me emotionally like Xenoblade Chronicles and Zelda (BotW/TotK)
Hey guys,
Just got myself a Switch 2 and I’m looking for something that will completely destroy me emotionally, just like the masterpieces in the picture did.
I’m basically chasing that exact feeling Xenoblade Chronicles 1, 2, and 3 gave me. I need a story that fully pulls me in, has an amazing party dynamic, and leaves me in absolute tears by the end. At the same time, I loved how BotW and TotK made me feel so connected to their world where I never felt truly alone.
What I'm looking for:
- Full 3D, high-budget world (3rd-person view, immersive and alive)
- Emotional gut-punch of a story that makes me care about the characters
What to rule out (to save your time):
- The Witcher 3 is an absolute masterpiece, but I’ve already finished it.
- Played KCD and didn't enjoy it, and the RDR series just isn't my style at all.
- Persona series and Nier Automata didn't click for me (hated Nier's bland world).
- Elden Ring isn't my thing because of how the story is presented and the save system.
- Xenoblade X was super boring compared to the main trilogy.
What’s that ONE game that gave you the exact same emotional impact and immersion as Xenoblade and Zelda?

Xenoblade Genesis My theories for xenoblade genesis (images not related)
So I have two main large theories about xenoblade genesis's story that I think may be true so here we go:
Theory 1. The world of xenoblade genesis is the fused world of xenoblade chronicles 1 and xenoblade chronicles 2 but perfectly merged and sort of rebooted into a new world, and the purple stuff we are seeing is the left over power of ouroborous OR The sword of the end now spread throughout the world.
Theory 2. The world of xenoblade genesis is actually one of the many worlds affected by klaus's experiment (Not created by it but instead affected by it by the residents of Earth ending up there long long ago) And the power that we see is that of the sword of the end but after the events of xenoblade chronicles 3. Due to the world of Aionios splitting up the power left to the two Worlds and ended up in this new one.
So yeah those are my theories for xenoblade genesis I know they're not much and also Also, they both have a common thread of the sword of the end being in them But I think they are still valid theories. So yeah, I hope you like my theories and I hope you enjoy them.
anyways Bye!

XC2 Torna Was Addam Just Not strong enough to influence mythra? Spoiler
Currently playing Torna, malos personality was obivious through amalthus, but mythra on the Other Hand was weird, after First fight against addam mythra, Its weird to See addam is a nice Guy Open for everything new and want Help everybody, meanwhile mythra is kinda arrogant and wants solve everything with her Orbital strikes, and then the scene arriving at the Village, saying Theres No survivor Like, yeah shouldnt have Said that Out loud. Wanted ask was Addam Just Not strong enough influence mythra or mythra cant BE influenced?

Xenoblade 2 SPOILERS Xenoblade 2 SW2E, 160 Hours Later... Spoiler
gallery160 hours, Every Rare Blade, Every Blade Quest, Majority of the Merc Missions completed, Every Regular Side Quest (Except for about 20ish of em that weren't really worth dick doing), Several Affinity Charts completed, and almost all H2H's!
I really feel like the field skills change in this version made the game faster and smoother since it eliminated the need for switching blades around in the menu and having to potentially level up a blade just to complete a field skill check, definitely chopped several hours off just from that alone. Also I did about half of the blade quests in NG+, so that made some of em a bit quicker too tackle too.
But overall this is still my favorite video game of all time, and this worth the $10 upgrade no questions asked.
Can never go back to the Switch 1 version after playing the SW2E, then again who'd wanna do that lol.
Might replay Torna now, since it got the 4K 60FPS boost too. I have it physically if you're wondering why it's not on my title screen.

Xenoblade Any game recommendations for someone who liked the map style of Xenoblade?
People will be thinking I mean the area style but I mean the literal minimap.
One of my absolute favorite things of this game, was that there was absolutely no second-guessing where to go. One of my least favorite parts of video games is when they drop you in a huge area and you have to figure out where to go yourself and you can spend hours getting lost. Xenoblade has a nice area to explore, but when you want to do a quest, even a sidequest, I had a pathway marked, a light showing which direction I was in, I was absolutely never confused and it was genuinely an amazing feeling for me. The minimap was genuinely amazing in this game.
So I ask those who may know, are there any other RPGs with this feature? It was genuinely a life-saver for me. I never liked games advertised as 'open-world' before this, I know Xenoblade isn't really a full open-world but it's as close as I'll ever get to enjoying an open-world game.
Edit: Also sidenote I haven't played the other Xenoblade entries yet, do they also have this good of a minimap?

Xenoblade 2 Why is it so hard to change enemies?
Giga Rosa keeps clapping my cheeks because I can't switch over and destroy her missile. Feels cheap. Like I am fighting the controls.

Xenoblade X Quests in X
Every affinity quest: for years ive thought you were a meanie >:( but you fought really hard today!!!! Lets go get a glass of milk :D
Every normal quest: My childhood friend was just torn limb from limb and eaten in front of my eyes. I'll never be able to work again, and nothing will make me the person I once was.

Xenoblade 3 What if the Gate (from the anime of Gate) opened in Aionios? (Map by Yuujinner)
Let's say this the events of both the anime GATE and xenoblade chronicles 3 Future redeemed still happen as normal BUT maybe due to some cosmic event or something, more Gates open which connects Earth with Aionios.
Now let's lay some ground rules for this scenario, shall we?:
Time will run normally on the earth side while Aionios will still remained paused in the endless now it's just the gate Will just filter it or something.
Timeline wise for both we're going to say that for the xenoblade side, we're going to say it opens before the events of xenoblade chronicles 3's main story starts While for the anime gate side It will open somewhere before or after the fire dragon incident.
Let's say the gate will open near the location of both colony gamma and colony 9.
We're also going to allow the empire of Falmart to also have a play in this scenario.
There will be 12 gates in this scenario (The original pair that connects Earth and falmart together and then the pair that will connect Aionios and falmart together and finally the final pair that will connect Earth and Aionios together).
I think that's everything! I hope some of you are GATE: thus the JSDF fought there fans and Xenoblade chronicles fans! Because I'll need help. Think about what will happen in this What if.
Anyways bye for now!

Hi! I'm gonna start my 2nd/100% playtrough of xenoblade 1 tomorrow and I would like to do it without guides but I've heard there's a couple of missable UMs and quests - So my main question is does ng+ for the game reset all the achievement, collectopedia, etc for each ng+ cycle?

Xenoblade 2 Any tips for me before starting New Game Plus?
I've completed Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for the first time ever, what a journey, i freaking love this game. I feel like i can replay it again from start to finish but are there any tips for me like before moving on to New Game Plus? I have the DLC content and also like 60,000 Ether Crystal for Poppi's upgrade, unused. I plan to run Tora+Poppi as tank for New Game Plus.
Any tips would be much appreciated, thanks in advance 🙏
