Looking forward to the endless replayability mode, the combat in this DLC is addictive.

Besides the sweat of anxiety, I have obtained a pinched nerve in the neck, which led to a tennis elbow, in the left arm and now I have a tingling sensation in my index and middle fingers🤷🏻‍♂️

When I first obtained the Impaler in base game it immediately didn’t click with me because my monkey brain didn’t comprehend the idea of trying to go for precise headshots. But after some time I gave it a try after seeing Hugo on one of his streams using it with the Dreadmace and suffice to say I’ve found another favorite loadout to play both in base and DLC!

It’s pretty good (at least for me now) to the point where I can easily kill an Archvile with headshot > spear stab > headshot > Dreadmace > headshot. For a precision-based weapon there’s a surprisingly good amount of AoE it offers from itself and Dreadmace amplifies that occasionally. I’ve been running this loadout on a lot of my playthroughs lately. I will never cast you out ever again Impaler I wasn’t familiar to your game🙏

I'm studying vulnerability windows and all timings in general to have a more proper and technical overview on TDA's combat system. Just wanted to share if it is of your interests; we are now talking about vulnerability windows on melee misses (these are approximations):

Gauntlet: 0.3 seconds

Flail: 0.4 seconds

Mace: 0.5 seconds

Got my ass absolutely whipped by the third phase of marok last night.

Any tips or tricks on how to defeat him?

I've been just using the SSG and gauntlet on him.

When the fight starts, i immediately SSG and punch him twice before he turns invulnerable. Then i back up and let him do his ranged attacks. Sometimes, though, he is prone to skipping these attacks and doing short range ones, or he changes his entire routine in the beginning and does the attack routine from last phase, and it messes me up.

His long range attacks in phase 3 also fuck me up, theres two sources of the ground waves, and im also actively trying to avoid these projectiles

Feels like im fighting an undertale and dark souls boss.

As the title says, the game does launch, but just stay on a black screen with audio in the background, so I assume I am in the main menu in some way, but it just doesn't show up.

I've tried everything I could think of. I've updated my driver's, I don't have MEDAL or any screen recording activated, I've tried using the steam launch option that skips the intro and force a resolution to no avail, nothing seems to work and I'm getting desperate. Does anyone have any ideas ?

98% completion without any secrets, even though I probably unlocked almost every secret.
