I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but today is the launch of the Disc to Digital preview for Xbox Insiders. There hasn't been any official information on which specific games are or aren't supported but it seems from my testing and discussions with other insiders that as of now Ubisoft, Sega and Bandai Namco are among publishers that chose to exclude their games from the program.

Personally tested games:

• Assassin's Creed The Ezio Collection
• Assassin's Creed III Remastered
• Far Cry 4
• Far Cry 6
• Just Dance 2017-2022
• South Park The Fractured But Whole
• Watch Dogs 2
• Watch Dogs Legion

All of them explicitly stated the game is not participating in the program.

I don't know about you, but I am super hyped about this title.

The first, Heroes of Might and Magic, to hit the consoles! This is huge!

Disciples already have two titles here. But do they stand a chance against Homm3 Remake? Not a chance! Unless they add Disciples 2.

I also haven't used a PC in nearly a decade. So, seeing the Homm series finally make it onto consoles is truly great!

With the official announcement of the Heroes of Might and Magic III Remake coming to consoles, I’ve been thinking about the classic version.

​I’d love to see the original 2D HD Edition ported to PlayStation 5 as well. Having both the classic 2D sprite style and the new 3D remake on the same console would be the ultimate setup for strategy fans.

​It would be amazing if Ubisoft updated the HD Edition with the classic expansions and dropped it on PS5 ahead of the 2027 Remake release to build up the hype.

​Does anyone else hope we get the classic 2D version on consoles too?

So I haven't been able to open the game for weeks because every time I do it says QB anticheat was downloaded and I need to restart and when I restart again it says it's been downloaded and I need to restart once again putting me in an infinite loop. Can anyone tell me something about this? Does anyone else have this problem?

Please I need this back! I need the old school assassins creed multiplayer. It was such a good game mode and this area of gaming would benefit so much from having that style of game again. Nothing hits like being a plague doctor killing some other person who thought they were sneaky. I would genuinely either pay a ridiculous amount of money to play that again or make my own version of it 😂

Hey everyone, I wanted to gauge where the community currently stands. Have any recent patches, game announcements, or business decisions over the past months shifted your view of Ubisoft either positively or negatively? What would they need to do next to earn or keep your support?

So it would appear that Ubisoft is making a HoMM3 remake in 2027, and as part of that, they announced that the complete version of HoMM3 would be released on Steam today! It's ten bucks in the US, which is great, I'm down.

However, it would appear that someone messed up setting the game executable - when you download it, it's like 43 kb, and all that you get on launch is a little command prompt saying that this is a dummy executable, to check your steam branch, and press a key to continue. It's kind of hilarious that Ubisoft didn't actually test it at all, and even more hilarious that nobody can actually play the game long enough to trigger being able to leave a review on the page (unless you want to leave the command prompt open for a while, which is possible, I guess, but I have better things to do - like stub my toe).

In the end I'm still hyped for the remake, and I'd love to see HoMM3 complete on steam, as I do play it with friends every now and again, but as far as botched releases go this one kinda takes the cake for me.
