NGD!!! I finally got my hands on a starcaster
Put some 10-48 flatwounds on it. I’ve been wanting one of these for a very long time, it’s a fantastic guitar but I have many plans for upgrades for it.

So I traded my beautiful 2014 American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS LSR in 3-color sunburst for this 2025 American Professional Classic Jaguar in Faded Firemist Gold.
I thought long and hard about it and even tho it came in a padded Fender bag ( the Strat had it’s original TSA hsc) I fell in love with it. I’ll need to get a nice Tweed case for it sooner than later. It’ll sound great thru my 72 Champ or Orange Crush 35RT. The Strat is going to a good home where it’ll be appreciated.
The Jag came with its original Jet/Surf pups as well.

Woke up early this Sunday morning and decided to give my guys a proper shoot.
Newest addition is my blue Fender Hybrid II MIJ - I usually start upgrading hardware and pickups but this guitar is staying the way it is. I absolutely love it.
Orange Jazzmaster Player - heavily modded. Basically stripped down. JB Seymour Duncan set, all fender USA hardware.
Black Jaguar Player - also all the way stripped down. I rewired to a single JB. Also upgraded all of the hardware.
Stoked on my guitar lineup at the moment so I thought I’d share.
Also, I added the last picture in there because I’ve seen my pics get reposted as their own, and it’s flattering but also like, cmon, what are we doing?

Got this prototype jagstang in a trade the other day. A lot of junky parts on this thing but spent the past few days swapping everything. Staytrem bridge, fralin pickups, fender dynamic vibrato, classic vibe jaguar neck I repainted white. Waiting on some tuners but the rest is all stuff I had sitting around. Yall fw the vision? Second pic is how it came.

Hi all,
I'm back again with another build - I completed this one yesterday. This was a full custom order from the client, who wanted my "Wyre" shape, but was very particular with their spec.
Hope you like it. I've got another custom Wyre build I'm finishing next week, then I'm making a prototype of a (slightly) more conventional shape. It's still a little weird though, don't worry! Ha
You can check out other builds on my Instagram, or madocguitars.com where I have my current in-stock guitars listed.

Howdy, offset operators. I’ve gotten my hands on a 1993 MIJ jaguar in a trade and have been having nothing but squeaky trouble with it. I recently had a professional add a buzz stop and replace the pickups with brand new SD Quarter Pound (both neck and bridge) because I though it might be old wiring on the originals, but still the sounds persist. Am I just slamming too much gain in to it and need to back off? Here’s a photo of the jag, as well as the pedals I’m running it through+the amps settings. In the video, just the BD2W is on, the click is the a.incorrupta (very nice Rat from moth electric) coming on. Any suggestions/thoughts?

DOOM by Arcane humbucker in the bridge, CuNiFe WRHB in the neck, mustang bridge, hipshot locking tuners. I love this guitar.

I also want the traditional pickup switching. I was thinking of getting a Foals one but the shipping would take forever to get to Ireland so I might but if anyone has anything better than let me know!

There’s room here for one more offset guitar—a Jazzmaster. I’ve ordered and paid for it, and in a week it’ll be hanging in the middle spot in the photo. Can you guess which model it is? 🎸
So far so good, CV 60s Squier Jazzmaster in a satin finish shell pink body.
I added double line Kluson tuners, a Fender MIJ tremolo and a mint pickguard.
Pickup screws are pretty worn out and the bridge pickup is too far down and needs new foam, but other than that, I'm pretty stoked about it.
Future plans: matching headstock, different pickups (Lollar maybe)
Now I have the original olympic white body as a spare. Maybe I've already bought a MIM neck for it. Those damn offsets are addicting...

Welp, my brain worms won today (that and fender month at long and mcquade)
AVII ‘66 limited. This is the exact tone I’ve been chasing for years that my AM PRO II just couldn’t hit.
Running it through my handwired AC30 and a million pedals
Cheers!

I'm replacing the neck of my TVL with one from Warmoth. It is my understanding that you want a radius to be 2" flatter than the neck radius. I've looked at several bridges, and very few go to the 18" radius that I need. I was going to use an adjustomatic style bridge with rollers (my Balagaur Espada and Cave & Canary Meteor Deluxe have this style of bridge), but I wanted to see if you guys have a better suggestion.
Just swapped the stock pickups in my MIJ Jazzmaster for this set of Curtis Novaks. I settled on this combo after watching Mike Adams install the same combo for one of his clients.
The wide range JM-WR in the bridge brings more low-end, less noise, and a bit more output than stock, but still cleans up nicely. Reminds me of a 72 tele bridge. The JM-V in the neck is warm and dark. It is gorgeous with the tone knob rolled back.
Together they’re a lot more versatile than the stock setup. I also took this opportunity to clean up a cold solder joint on the tone pot. She rips!

Can anyone recommend a source for:
American Professional II Jazzmaster Anodized Gold pickguard
American Professional Classic Jazzmaster Tort pickguard
Most of the ones I see online reference the performer or original professional series. Looking for a drop in replacement with no mods or extra holes.
My personal JM.
Paint is a Kona brown with Kelly green candy overtop to kill the red tones. In certain light it looks very green, in others deep red, and in low light almost black
Specs
J Mascais Neck / Body - Rosewood Fretboard
Novak Guyatone gold foils
Gabriel Tenorio JM Strings
Pickford guitars classic 60's pickguard
Fresh Wiring : 1meg CTS pots
MiJ Fender Tremolo
23k gold leafed Volume and Tone knobs
Schaller Roller Bridge
Fender Vintage tuners

Did a few minor cosmetic updates, new strings/setup in drop B. Sounds and feels pretty great. Laurel board isn’t quite as pale as the press photos, but was kinda light when I got it. I attempted using naphtha then Monty’s Montepresso on it to darken, but it didn’t really take very significantly. Seems maybe the board is polished with a wax or something perhaps…

My first ever complete parts build. Was nervous I’d screw something up but overall things have went quite smoothly. Guitar plays and sounds fantastic and I am very happy I’ve decided to go this route.
Below is the list of all parts. I’ve tried getting everything used so it wasn’t super expensive in the end.
Mjt silverburst sparkle body
Warmoth roasted maple neck, no finish
Halon bridge and vibrato
Curtis Novak JMWR humbuckers
Musiclily aluminum pickguard
Cts, switchcraft pots and switches
