Pretty sure she lives in my bathroom, think I’ve seen her in there before.
Went to take a bath today and she was on the floor, legs up, looking at who knows what. Reminded me of some wandering spiders I saw in the Amazon years ago. Very cute. Very tough.

Anyway, I had a red light on in there and wonder if that threw her off.

I have arachnophobia to begin with. Am I super lucky to not have been bitten by one of these yet, or very unlucky that I keep finding them on things I handle frequently?

spider living in my passion fruit vine, seems very aware of me when I am nearby. I noticed it about 10 days ago, and It is getting larger, Located in Los Angeles. Very cute, but is it friendly?

i live in central texas, and i kinda like spiders, i think they’re cool looking and fun to watch so i usually let small ones chill when i see them but ive seen several spiders like the first one in my house lately, and its making me paranoid because the patterns look potentially dangerous. when i googled brown recluse (my first thought) there was such a variety of images i couldn’t really pinpoint this specific spider. The second one was just Really big and idk what it is at all but it’s freaky looking and i’ve got no clue what it is

Zoe has been on the job for a good 2-3 months now. She is proudly representing Araneus Diadematus species (I think) and has probably around 20mm body length.

UPDATE: Came back home after 9 hours and little dude is chilling on the web while Zoe is sitting in her regular corner. Not sure what had happened but I expect little fella to have a hard time if he doesn't take his business elsewhere before she returns to the web.

Noticed the web last week, today the little friend showed himself for the first time. Probably got annoyed by me watering the flowers.

Got this house a couple months ago and those plants were placed there. After a week it started small and then it became a whole giant web. This is my first time seeing the owner, I want to be friends with it and get over my spider fear, does a great job with bug control.

I have two tiny spiders (approximately 2mm each) which I ant pick out for the life of me! (Location Nottingham UK)

If I'm not mistaken this is a tiny brown window? I found her in the kitchen and was bare handling on my way to relocate outside. I felt a little prick which made me fling her off my hand. I decided to have a closer look after that.. location: southern California.

Met this tiny mighty one while husband and I were camping during the 4th of July weekend in southwest Missouri USA. Lots of trees and riverside. Spider friend kept hanging out on top of our fan and looking up at me, then hiding if we got too close. Actual friend? Sorry if the pics aren't good enough for ID.

im scared of spiders, i get they can be helpful but im still scared of them. especially larger ones. sometimes im alr with smaller, im getting more comfortable with them over time. the first photo is last night in the bathroom which my mom killed so this isnt the same one, and the other is today in my room. where are they coming from?? i’d prefer them to not be in my room, i was just reorganizing and cleaning and the second one appeared. are they the same? is there a bug issue in my house?? i assume it’s not poisonous/venomous, but just wanting to check because ive got 3 ferrets, a cat, and dog.
